I gained my NVQ level 3 in bricklaying straight from school and have worked as a builder for 20 years. I have worked for several companies in all aspects of building. From maintenance work for local authority to building private extensions on houses. I have nearly 20 years of experience in the stone industry, working on various projects from coursing stone to operating machines, running the saws, backing off stone, and banker masonry. I also have extensive experience working on site, fixing and doing restoration work for historical and modern buildings. I have trained two apprentice masons at different levels and I hold a gold CSCS card and a first aid certificate.
