Hi, my name is David. I am a fully qualified stonemason with an SVQ Level 3 certification and over 10 years of hands-on experience in the trade. I specialise in all aspects of stonework, including pointing, carving, and building. I have worked both independently and as a subcontractor on a wide range of projects — from small garden walls to large-scale restorations of churches, schools, and cemeteries. ThinStone is 100% real stone. From the quarry, we cut down the big pieces of stone to a one inch thickness to make ThinStone. It is thus much lighter in weight than full size building stone, and so it can be fixed directly on to the wall structure. This simplifies the whole building process. The work force has over 20 years experience working with the bulkier building stone and Thin Stone has been in business for over 12 years.
