  Professional time served Durham Cathedral trained Stonemasons our work is to the highest quality Standards. Before setting up Durham Stonemasonry in 1999, I previously worked at Durham Cathedral for 16 years. Lewis our second stonemason also worked at The York Minister for 5 years then 19 years at Durham Cathedral. Carl our third stonemason was trained by myself and Lewis with 3 years at York college There is only 3 of us in our team who are qualified Stonemasons, to the highest standards.

  Fire damaged stonework above an electricity meter box and around a kitchen window. An awkward job but DSR were able to rise to the challenge. They turned up when they said they would so the job could interface with the window installers. They were also confident and competent enough to work in the vicinity of the meter box without the need to require disconnection which maintained our electricity supply. The quality of the finished stonework was very good and the lads were pleasant on site. All round good job and very satisfied, would easily recommend.

  im a builder looking for work in the domestic sector i served my time as an apprentice brick layer with a local builder then stayed on 3 years after that i then set off on my own sub contract bricklaying and im moving back into domestic work rather then comercial work garage conversions extensions new builds
