Hello my name is Lee I am NVQ level 3 (banker/fixer)mason with 30 yrs experience i have spent the majority of my career working on the restoration of historic buildings for the national trust and English Heritage where i have worked on places such as lichfield cathedral, Blenheim Palace and the tower of London amongst many others. As a banker mason I specialise in limestone and sandstone and am able to work these into fireplaces, window and door surrounds, cornice, arches etc. As a fixer mason being able to lay stone means i am also competent in brick and block work, flooring and paving. I started my career by training in stone cutting at Weymouth college, before gaining more experience through the Prince's Foundation, and spending a year in France with the Compagnon du Devoir. It's now been 10 years since I started masonry and I have since gained experience with a variety of stones, techniques and styles. This has left me capable of undertaking a wide range of tasks related to traditional stone masonry, and completing them to a high degree of satisfaction.

I am a sole trader who has spent the last five years subcontracting on sites carrying out brickwork on new build homes I started out as an apprentice, along the way gaining my NVQ level one and two in bricklaying.
