Very poor quality and unprofessional service. Job -Repair and replacement of floorboards, landing and two small rooms & oak overlay on stairs. 2nd day on-site. Put a nail through a water pipe. We requested a certified plumber was called to rectify the problem. He was extremely reluctant to do so & wanted to fix this issue himself. So we called a plumber. He was overheard on the phone, requesting his partner bring a pice of cooper piping from his home. He was asked to take away excess unused flooring to enable credit on materials & lied and said my Father wanted to keep them. JJ building requested more money to continue with stair job but admitted he cancelled the oak order. He was informed further discussion with family was required before proceeding. He abruptly left the site leaving 2 pensioners with no water, water damage to ceiling, door frame & paintwork to manage. He took our only copy of the signed contract when he left. Luckily, a plumber fixed the piping. We have incurred the cost and also calling out a washing repair company to sort water supply. We will also have to pay for repairs to doorframe as expanded and cracked and surrounding wallpaper has bubbled due to the water damage. We have since tried to contacted Jj building, also requesting details of public liability insurance,but have had no response to date. We have informed Trading standards. We have also tried to contact my builder.com directly, but as yet also have received no response.

DO NOT HIRE THIS COWBOY! 3 TIMES HE MADE UP EXCUSES FOR NOT TURNING UP 1ST EXCUSE - HE HAD TO PICK UP HIS LADDERS! 2ND EXCUSE HE COULD NOT MAKE IT DUE TO ANOTHER JOB! 3RD EXCUSE - HE HAD TO DO A SCHOOL RUN AND THEN I STILL GAVE HIM THE BENEFIT OF DOUBT BY RE-ARRANGING FOR HIM TO COME ANOTHER DAY WHICH WAS AGREED UPON BY HIM OVER THE PHONE. HE STILL DIDN'T SHOW UP AND WHEN I TRIED CALLING HIM HE SWITCHED HIS PHONE OFF. CLASSIC COWBOY WHO WASTES PEOPLE'S TIME.

Good work but unfortunately Gary claimed he forgot to add for VAT. When I asked for VAT no. Gary admitted he is not VAT registered. Sad end to a good job. I had another job for Gary but decided not to use him again.

This is sad really as wanted to give him a chance but he literally disappeared after agreeing to do the work. After postponing the work a couple of times, he just did not turn up and will not reply to messages. I think he isn't quite sure what the job is about or does not have the skills. Sadly disappointing.

Cancelled on me late on the night before the job was supposed to start. These things happen but nice for more notice. Rescheduled work which was to replace 3 door frames and fit new doors and furniture. After a few days the doors started sticking. Informed Dion who said he wasn't in the area. I tried to be patient to allow him to pop over when in the area, but 2.5 months later he's ignoring my messages. He also hung one door on the wrong side so now i need to pay an electrician to move the light switch and pay someone to come fix his mess. I don't think he used enough fixings on the frames. Dion is a joiner in the father/son team he told me.........

They came and saw my properties , said they will provide a quote within 24 hours . I called the guy who called himself Zach and he said he'll call me back in half hour. 4 hours later I texted him and asked him to let me know if he can't do the job and he didn't respond. If he had told me for whatever reason he couldn't or didn't want to do my job I would not be writing this negative feedback but since my job is delayed because they couldn't even bother getting back to me I feel it's well deserved . Zach and Baseer , It takes more than a website to build a business .. I hope you treat your other clients with a little more respect
