Didn’t return to finish the job, respond to calls or messages in response to finishing the job. Sadly wouldn’t hire Ovi & Mihai (O&C) again. Friendly & responsive initially. Worked well, on time, eager to please, did a good job - not perfect but adequate, average attention to detail but corrected when asked. We initially had a faux chimney put in, they touted for more work & provided alcove shelving/cabinet ideas which we subsequently hired them for. They worked intermittently (dad around for first half of job then left for Romania) as this was agreed as best for both parties. However they left the job incomplete once paid (were paid on time, each time, with no bargaining). Didn’t respond to texts or calls, leaving cabinet doors unfinished, large chips & cracks unfilled. Laminate was also poorly cut around hearth stone, left chimney cutout unfinished with no cement to the base. Lack of respect and wouldn’t hire again as cannot trust they won’t disappear. Note previous reviews.

Left the job unfinished after many days of chasing to complete. Quality dependent on individual tradesman. Initially good quality but other workmen poor. In the end I had to throw them offsite.

Great job, great price, great service. Job was done 3 years ago to fix a strip of flashing and replace strip of guttering. It's still holding up great. We had to cancel a few times due to poor weather - and he texted me beforehand anyways. I still remember when he said there was some loose bricks up on the roof, which could come tumbling down. I thanked him and let the neighbours know as was on their side, and they were doing loft conversion at the time.

Cant say enough good things about Jon this is not to say the other interested tradesmen were bad but Jon was brilliant . The first to respond and made an instant quality impression on my partner . Jon did the work neatly , quickly while explaining products used and works done as it proceeded . Provided us with all the options explaining the differences in options and possible effects . Punctual and professional at all time . Would definitely use again 6 stars out of 5 .

Florin extended and completely refurbished our 4-bedroom semi-detached house. This included extensive steelwork, underfloor heating, complete re-plumbing and rewiring, excavation, and an entirely new slate roof as well as varying extensions up to three floors high. I cannot say enough good things about his workmanship, professionalism and reliability. His workmanship makes a perfectionist like myself happy. He is also completely professional: even with our difficult neighbours he was always courteous and understanding, and even helped them sort out issues at a moment’s notice that had nothing to do with his building work on our property. And he is also thoroughly reliable. I cannot think of any instance where he committed to something and did not deliver — he even managed to finish all the work on our house ahead of schedule and on budget. We have been so happy with his work that we contracted him to build us a summer house as well, from scratch, and to complete revamping our front garden including elements of hard landscaping. Again he delivered flawlessly and we are very happy with the result. We also continually receive positive comments from people passing by and just seeing the front garden. We have used several other builders in the past on other properties, including far more expensive ones, and none compare to his level of competence, attention to detail in his workmanship, his complete professionalism and thorough reliability. Now that we have found Florin, we will never look for another builder again. I just hope once others experience what he delivers for themselves he will still have some availability for us in the future!
