Subject to the terms and conditions below, the Company provides a 10-year workmanship guarantee on eligible roofing works carried out by NRCR LIMITED. 1. Guarantee Period The workmanship guarantee is valid for 10 years from the date of practical completion of the relevant roofing works, unless a different period is expressly stated in writing on the quotation or invoice. 2. What Is Covered This guarantee covers defects that are reasonably determined to have resulted directly from defective workmanship by NRCR LIMITED in connection with the specific works described in the quotation or invoice. Where a valid claim is accepted, NRCR LIMITED will, at its reasonable discretion, repair or rectify the affected workmanship within a reasonable period. 3. Materials This guarantee applies to workmanship only. Materials and products supplied or installed as part of the works may be covered by separate manufacturer warranties. Any manufacturer warranty is subject to the manufacturer's own terms, conditions and exclusions. 4. Any work specifically excluded from the quotation or invoice. 5. Guarantee Claims The customer must notify NRCR LIMITED in writing as soon as reasonably practicable after becoming aware of an alleged defect covered by this guarantee. NRCR LIMITED must be given a reasonable opportunity to inspect the alleged defect before any remedial work is undertaken. The customer should not instruct another contractor to carry out remedial work relating to a potential guarantee claim without first notifying NRCR LIMITED and providing the Company with a reasonable opportunity to inspect the issue, except where immediate action is reasonably necessary to prevent further damage. 6. Scope of Guarantee This guarantee applies only to the specific works carried out by NRCR LIMITED and identified on the relevant quotation or invoice. It does not constitute a guarantee of the entire roof, building structure or any existing works that were not undertaken by NRCR LIMITED. 7. Transfer Unless otherwise agreed by NRCR LIMITED in writing, this workmanship guarantee applies to the original customer and is not automatically transferable to a subsequent owner or occupier of the property. 8. Statutory Rights Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude, restrict or limit any statutory rights or remedies available to a consumer under applicable UK law. Where applicable law provides the customer with rights or remedies that are additional to, or greater than, those stated in this guarantee, those rights remain unaffected. 9. Hi my name is Brian and I am a sole trader in all aspects of pitch roofing with 20+ experience. I have been in the building trade all my life. I learnt roof tiling? When I worked for a big roofing company based in sandy, called K&C Roofing. They established in 1971. I joined them in the year 2000 and worked under them for 14 years until they retired a few years ago. I learned from the best, old school roof tilers around back then, learning the old ways as well as the new ways, as everyone has to adapt as time goes on. They covered 4 different counties, taking on and completing council contracts, re roofing street after street, and simple repairs too if needed. I am also a City of guilds Qualified with a GNVQ L2 Skilled Carpenter and Joiner. As I'm working for myself now, I'm just a small sole trader so I don't come with all the big companies overhead charges. With all quotes negotiable. Feel free to list me for a chat and details, then we can go from there.
