Sam gave me a great quote for fitting the new floorboards. He turned up on time and worked non stop still finish. Sam is a perfectionist which can only be a good thing if you are the customer. The job took longer to do than he thought it would but he still insisted on sticking to the original quote which says a lot about his character. He was methodical ,careful and tidy and his work was first class.

DIDN'T COMPLETE THE JOB. We were very pleased with Westech in the beginning. They came and said they would fibreglass our balcony in an attempt to stop a bad leak. The fibreglass went down and we knew it might not stop the leak. It didn't but we were happy to pay the £3k anyway to improve drainage under the boards. We retained £250 in order for them to replace the decking they took up and they promised to come back and do so as soon as our window glass was installed. We kept in touch. But when we asked them to come back we just got radio silence. No response, no nothing. Now we are left with a black tarmac balcony, unusable and no way to get the boards put back. SO DISAPPOINTED. We thought them being an old Cornish family firm they would be honourable. We were wrong. Don't use them.

Including partition walls, doors & frames, skirting & architrave, flooring, kitchen fitting, decking, fencing plus much more. I work in both domestic and commercial properties, and am fully insured. Over the years I have also gained additional skills and experience and can undertake plastering work, bathroom fitting, tiling, as well as being a qualified grp flat roof installer. Whilst I work mainly within travelling distance of Launceston I am willing to work anywhere in the uk. I complete all my work to a high standard and am not content unless my customer is completely satisfied with the job.

Totally wasted our time. Accepted the quote and were advised they couldn’t start for a month. We had to chase Matt for a start date which was finally agreed. Night before, no contact so texted at 8pm to ask what time they would arrive. Text back with no apology but said the current job had overrun so wouldn’t be starting until Monday. Very annoyed as we had arranged work around this so one of us could be at home and he clearly wasn't going to let us know this until we chased him up! The Monday was a Bank Holiday so didn’t expect them until the Tuesday (although they didn't say this!). Texted on Monday evening as again no contact and he didn’t even bother to respond this time. Rang on the Tuesday and obviously blocked number as straight to voicemail. Waited a month for the work to be done and then he just didn’t bother turning up or have the courtesy to let us know he obviously wasn’t going to do the job. Don’t understand the motivation here at all to agree to a job and then just not do it. If you don’t want the job don’t accept it! Avoid at all costs!

Lee responded quickly to my advert and gave an initial quote. Lee attended my address, arriving on time, to sight the job and clarify what I was after. Job and quote agreed. Lee arrived when he said he would and complicated the job to a high standard. His work was clean and tidy and I'd have no issues either recommending or using him again.

Fascias & Soffits- 16 May 2026
WF Homecare were prompt in coming out to quote and we initially felt confident hiring them. The front fascia, soffit and guttering were installed a few days later. As it had not rained at that point, we then proceeded with having the rear fascia, soffit and guttering replaced. However, as soon as it rained we had leaks at both the front and back. I emailed the business owner, who attempted a fix, but when it rained again the same leaks appeared. I emailed again but received no reply, and later managed to speak to him in person. A second attempt to fix the leaks was carried out, and I will see what happens in the next rainfall. There are other general standard issues, but I have focused on the main point here. Also for both jobs we paid him promptly. Yet but both jobs he emailed me within 1/4 hour of sending his invoices, chasing payment! Based on the workmanship issues, the communication difficulties, and our overall experience with the company, we would not hire WF Homecare again.

He assisted on the project from the groundwork’s up to finishing touches including flooring and a decorative patio. Nick is conscientious and takes great pride in achieving a first class finish. These guys are roofers that do the job! Discussed the issue, came round within a couple of hours to look, and unlike others actually got on to the roof to look at directly as opposed to ground level diagnosis. Took photographs to show me what the issues were and we agreed a price. No silly inflation of the job, unlike others. Arrived on time on the agreed day and completed the job without delay. Very easy and accommodating. Would I use again, Definitely Would I recommend? Absolutely.
