We work on homes and small commercial properties across Brighton, Hove and Sussex, from the city out to Shoreham, Lewes, Newhaven and up to Hassocks and Burgess Hill. What we do Roof repairs. Leaks, slipped or broken tiles and slates, loose ridges and verges, failed flashings and storm damage. Many Brighton terraces have hidden valley (butterfly) gutters behind a front parapet; these are a common leak point and we inspect and repair them. Re-roofs. Natural slate and tile re-roofs on terraces, semis and bungalows, handled as one job: strip, underlay, battens, ridge and finish. Flat roofs. Flat roofs on rear extensions, garages and dormers, which are common across Brighton and the coast. Roof cleaning and moss removal. Moss and algae build-up is cleared with a hot water jet wash, followed by a fungicide clean and then a water seal coat. Chimneys and leadwork. Repointing, flaunching, chimney repairs and lead flashings, including the tall stacks on Victorian and Regency houses. Fascias, soffits and guttering. Replacing rotten timber fascias, new soffits, and fixing or replacing leaking, sagging or overflowing gutters. Drone roof inspections.
