Single storey rear kitchen extension - really pleased with the new kitchen. Yuri and his men built the extension and did all of the ground work too and then fitted the kitchen for me. As my existing kitchen plus the new kitchen extension together, is a very unusual shape, the fitting of the new units and appliances would have stumped most builders or kitchen fitters and I know that it was a very difficult job but Yuri fitted everything really well and kept his sense of humour at the same time.

Restoration & Refurbishment- 13 Jan 2018
Just needed to thank Steve for helping me out with my concerns regarding a homebuyers report which made me think I had to pull out of a house sale. I wasn't requesting any particular job to be taken on, but he was there to guide me nonetheless. This was really appreciated and will be contacting him in the near future, due to the sale of the house going ahead. Thank you for your advice, Laura

Painting & Decorating- 21 Dec 2020
The team from N W Howe & Son did an excellent job in the painting of our hall, two flights of stairs and landings. We were so pleased with the work in progress we asked if they could paint two first floor rooms as well while they were with us. All work was completed in under a week and with very little disruption to us.

Bricklaying- 9 Aug 2018
Dave and his crew were simply amazing! From the first visit, we clicked immediately. Dave was sympathetic to the design of the large garden wall and went well beyond our expectations in restoring it to its former glory. His advice and suggestions were spot on and worked so well. When the job was bigger than expected, (my mistake, not Dave’s) he just kept working and smiling. After they finished, the clean up was perfect. I will certainly be bringing them back for more work - but in the mean time, I've invited them back for a garden BBQ - now tell me, how many times would someone do that if they weren't completely thrilled with the work. They gave 110% and it shows! Thanks, Dave for everything – and let me say, Beresford will fly high!

Kitchen Fitting- 1 Sep 2026
Cotswold B&PM (C) were chosen to install our kitchen and bathroom. Kitchen start date was 08/06, and was completed a whole 10 weeks later. C's tradespeople rarely had availability and we were constantly in limbo whilst having no kitchen. We had to pay for a different plasterer due to severe delays, even though we had already paid C to do it. When C fit the new units, the worktop company said that units were installed incorrectly and suggested other corrections before fitting, C refused as they were on other jobs. C finally finished our job on 13/08 and never apologised for the delays. C's replies to poor reviews mention a "communication breakdown". I called C 20 times over the course of our 10 week job. He did not pick up or call back 19 times. C does not reply to messages unless you chase multiple times over many days. We cancelled our bathroom with C as they said it would take even longer than 10 weeks apparently. C also refused to refund us for the bathroom initially, but later did.

Restoration & Refurbishment- 18 Feb 2021
Ray was an absolute professional. He fitted a new downstairs toilet which required a new soil pipe and associated groundwork as well as new stud walling to partition the space. He did most of the work himself, but brought in others for the pieces where he wanted an expert. He was flexible to small changes and was happy to take on additional work when unforeseen issues were discovered. The areas he had worked in were quickly cleaned before he left each day. Overall the work was completed to a good quality and at a reasonable price.

My job was a complete refurbishment of a flat. I appointed Gavin to undertake this job and I was very pleased with the overall experience and results. Firstly, he was very easy to work with and understood my requirements very well. Secondly he completed the work to a high standard and went the extra mile to ensure it was done to this high standard and worked hard to complete it within the time frame I was expecting. I have no hesitation in recommending Gavin.

Plumbing- 4 Feb 2021
Shaun arrived in the time specified, very polite got straight to work. Dishwasher removed and ready to be taken away in 45 mins. Only minor gripe was Shaun ran out of caps to shut off waste drainage pipe so we improvised with a plastic sheet and rubber band. Held for a while until I drained the sink later and the water weight pressure pushed it off causing a minor leak. I remedied it by poking an old sock snugly in the open end and has held up so far until new machine is installed in 2 days.Overall good job, good price and would happily recommend

Restoration & Refurbishment- 12 Nov 2020
Truebuild recently completed the design and build of a full garden and rear of house renovation, including but not limited to a fully equipped outdoor kitchen and frameless sliding door installation. The final finish is nothing short or perfect and has far exceeded all expectations. I thought it would be tricky to find a builder for a project that involved such considerable landscaping, roofing, tiling, plumbing, electrics and decoration as well as a number of bespoke requests (built in pizza oven, sedum roof, beer pump, polished plaster wall, countersunk BBQ and backlit cladded exterior walls to name a few). Louis however managed to co-ordinate these works effortlessly and personally took responsibility for all elements of work. He ensured all elements were completed to his high standards and the attention to detail and final finish of all work is exceptional. Louis and all the truebuild team have been a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. We now have a garden that we can use to entertain all year round for years to come. I have already and will continue to recommend truebuild to friends, family and anyone who asks. We have a builder we know and trust for all future plans we have. Thank you Truebuild
