Restoration & Refurbishment- 24 Aug 2021
AVOID AT ALL COSTS! After a year of excuses on what should have been an 8 week job they have walked away from the project without completing and what they did do I coukd have done better myself. They have left the house in a dangerous state, with half a rewire done and no building res for walls that were removed and we are having to file with small claims court to try and get some money back. Communication and customer service was brilliant until after the money was handed over. Save yourself thousands and do not employ this business!!

Fantastic plastering and joinery work undertaken by Tyler (and his mate).. Tyler listened to what we wanted and advice was given by him when we asked for it (or needed it)... Tyler worked with us to ensure work was completed when we were available and still in a timely manner.. all work was finished to a very high standard and ready to be decorated... Very highly recommended, thank you Tyler.

Restoration & Refurbishment- 5 Jun 2020
This was a significant refurbishment project in a large Victorian terraced house. It involved stripping the entire house of carpets, walls smoothing and re-plastering, sanding of floors, painting, door replacement, tiling, re-wiring and installing a new bathroom. We were quite specific about how we wanted things. Tim was accommodating to all of this and the end product is better than we could have imagined. He is an excellent communicator, keeping us updated with progress throughout with accompanying photos and dialogue as needed. He was very flexible around additional work added along the way bringing in specialists in specific trades as required. He has a good team, Jimmy the electrician in particular deserves a mention for rewiring several antique light fittings for little additional cost. Jimmy was honest to the extent that he told us not to bother re-wiring which talked himself out of a job! The coronavirus lock-down occurred within the first few weeks of starting. Although this meant he did run beyond completion date, we were so impressed with how he managed this. He was very respectful with regards to the health of ourselves and his team. When materials were not available due to company closures, he got on with other jobs. The house was kept incredibly tidy throughout the project making it very easy to live there whilst work was ongoing. He is clearly a perfectionist, with a strong eye for detail and we wouldn’t hesitate to use him again.

Restoration & Refurbishment- 23 Mar 2018
Denis and his team did an excellent job above and beyond our expectations. They gave us a competitive quote half of the price of what we were originally quoted by other tradesmen and assured us they will do a good job. They did an excellent job! Denis managed all the work including his carpenters, electrician and plumber, and the work was done on time as planned. As an architect's family, we wanted attention to details from our drawings and Denis was very polite and attentive communicating all of our needs to his builders while carefully following our list of works. There were times when they had to redo the roofing and tiling, this was done without problems. We even offered more work than orginally planned like painting the whole house and new floor boards installation on a day rate, which were done at a fraction of a price. They are genuinely hard workers, friendly and efficient. One of the highlight work they did, which other tradesmen were not keen on doing in our kitchen, was to dig the concrete floor to level it up with the dining floor to give the new open plan room an extra height instead of just adding levelling compound on top. This was done in a day! We highly recommend Denis and his team and we would use them again for future work.

Brian from Plastermasters "project managed" as well as carrying out the majority of the renovation of my late sisters house. All work was carried out to a high standard and in a timely manner. He offered advice, solutions and no issue was too small. I felt confident in leaving him in control, which hwas important as the property was empty, knowing that the project was in capable and safe hands. He even project managed the landscaping of the gardens which I was very grateful. His pricing was fair and reasonable. Payment was only required on completion when I was satisfied that the work had been carried out, per the quote. I have no hesitation in recommending him for similar projects.

Extensions- 26 Feb 2018
My extension is now nearly finished and I couldn't be happier with Paul's work - every aspect of it has been fantastic. He and his workers are always reliably on time and he lets me know when anything changes. Paul is a real problem solver and he has always been able to explain everything, to adapt as needed, to listen to my requests and to offer helpful advice. The quality of his work is second to none; he is conscientious, considerate and very hard-working. Everything is cleared away every day which is a real bonus, and left clean and tidy. The project has run more or less to time, with the only delays caused by an absent plumber. I've been so pleased with the results so far that I have also employed Paul to refurbish my kitchen, which he is doing now. Paul has also been working on landscaping my garden (re-shape garden, new patio, retaining walls and steps) which is looking wonderful. Paul has very efficiently project-managed the whole thing: the skip, the loads and loads of waste coming from the garden, multiple deliveries of supplies, all in a fairly small space. I'm really happy with the results so far. Before the work started, Paul gave me a previous customer's contact details so I could go and see the work he had done for them and get their wholehearted recommendations too, which was really useful. I can recommend Paul 100%. You don't need to have any worries about using him.

Hard Flooring- 16 Nov 2019
Really great guy who did a superb job. We supplied the flooring and his initial quote and guess of how long the job turned out to be a bit optimistic (not his fault - the flooring had been in storage a while and was hard to lay.) Nonetheless he was going to honor the original quote (itself very reasonable) though we insisted he take a bit more since he had to come back a second day and instead of a day the whole job took more than half a day more. He is polite, positive, and clearly something of a perfectionist...he relaid one of the boards on the second day because of an imperfection which we hadn't even noticed.Communication was always good and he turned up when he said he would - even when he had to return to complete the job. Based on my experience I would recommend him enthusiastically.
