Chimney Brest removal. Added my job on the My Builder site on 04/08/2024. Keith responded the same day to arrange a date for a quotation. He kept me informed about appointment time and arrived on time for the appointment the following day. Keith gave us a quotation on chimney breast removal, breaking a wall down and to build a wall. Work commenced on 10/08/2024 and was completed 11/08/2024. Keith and Tion arrived on said times. They completed the work on schedule and kept us updated throughout the project. Excellent work done and they cleaned up after themselves. Keith gave us great advice on our other projects. We are very happy with the finished result and would highly recommend Keith and Tion. Nor a professional builder be careful before you hire this guy. I hired Piotr for the huge project to improve my newly purchased home to do full renovation inside and with full new kitchen loads including new fence his main failing points are 1.he installed modern shower but not professional way as when it leaked and had to replaced new handle with washer there was blocked so had to break the tiles, he did a easy job for himself but ruined.2 no experience of working on roof and he ruined the roof, has no knowledge of british building regulation, he failed to install properly as roof leaked within 3 months, fence as been badly installed as most of the fence post installed without spike which should have been put and it fell within 9 months, when I found out that the fence post was not even properly pushed in the ground, I trusted this guy but he take an advance from it installing fence in correct way I had to re hire the proper fencer to put it right.there is many things that I would like to point out that he rewired electricity and has not got his qualification which I had to pay extra, again the power keep going off, I found out some of his work wasn't installed in the right way so had to rehire qualified electrician, gas and boiler installation starting to became problematic and had to re-done, kitchen installation was as bad as you can think of, kitchen cupboard was not installed in the correct level, extractor was installed wrongly again had to rehire the installer..

I cannot praise enough the work Chris has carried out by remodeling my kitchen. He took on his work professionally each day on site, turning up on time and ensured the room was left tidy on each day ready for the next day. Chris also came up with solutions exercising problem solving characteristics to issues in the main caused by the supplier. Iam both thrilled with the finishing and reasonable cost, so much so asked Chris to return to carry out some other work in the house and will turn to him first if ever there is a need for more work on the house.

The weather wasn't too kind to Liam and Owen in the Autumn months when they were digging out the footings for our new extension, but despite the occasional delay they still managed to get on with it. Both Liam and Owen were polite and always turned up when they said they would early in the mornings. Having got the walls erected and roof on Liam liaised with the man to lay the floor screed and also the window fitters. There was a delay on one window as we wanted a bespoke window which has been made and fitted, it's exactly what we wanted, the bi-fold doors look amazing too. Liam and Owen cleared up after themselves each day, Liam arranged all the skips and rubbish clearance too. Now that it's finished, the extension will provide a huge benefit to us and we can't wait for the summer to come to put it to its full use. Bet you don't get so many cups of tea at the next job Liam! Thanks again to Liam and Owen.

Finally got the right company. When they first came to give me a quote, they took me round to see one of their current jobs and I even got to speak to the resident which gave me more confident to give them the job. When I got the quote for the job I was happy and the job was completed even a day before what they said which was surprising. I have also recommended them to my friend who also want them to do his paving. Great company, you can’t go wrong...

Cumhur Soy(Dmr construction) did not finish my building project he took one year then left halfway through the project taking £73000. It cost me over £25000 to complete my extension (see pictures how he left).whilst I was working night shift he took all his Tools and did a runner. He hired unqualified Electricians/Gas engineers. He says he is a qualified builder plus a civil engineer its all bogus. Please do not hire him. I am about to report him to the authority. He left North London owing people money,(shield double glazing in Ilford is an example) and now lives in Chesterfield/Sheffield area post code S433AZ. Please be careful

Restoration & Refurbishment- 8 Oct 2025
I do not recommend Ivan Bitto and IB Refurb. Working with them was a complete disaster. After getting part way through a bathroom renovation with them it became apparent that I’d made a huge mistake in hiring them. I had to find another contractor to literally remove everything IB Refurb had done and start the job from scratch. As you can imagine this cost a significant amount of money and put me in a very stressful situation. On top of paying for the building work twice I also had to purchase second fix materials again because they’d been damaged. Ivan Bitto won’t provide any refund for monies already paid claiming to be bankrupted and out of the country. A horrendous experience that I wouldn’t want other people to have to go through. Heed ours and the previous review and avoid at all costs.

Bathroom Fitting- 13 Mar 2022
Paul came to quote on an ensuite which he said was not possible after a number of assessments. I made Paul aware of works I planned for the garden and bathroom and a few other bits. If you went someone that is; consistent, timely, has defined cost (regular has updates on costs and possible variances), honest, good quality finish, then Paul is your guy. Our bathroom is to a very high standard with a very detailed finish across all areas With regards to the garden. It was like a swap, no drainage and just clay. Paul came up with a detailed plan as to how he would resolve it, which he did. Communication 10 Time 10 Quality 10 Pricing 10 Consistency 10 Personality 10 It's a shame my builder doesn't allow pictures to be uploaded....

Fantastic work from Gary on what turned out to be a very awkward job. He was happy to do extra bits that he thought would help with the damp problem we were trying to tackle, without extra cost. Clear communication and quote beforehand, able to start the work quickly, and not at all grumpy, despite the company name!
