He visited us 3-4 times to investigate our issues, taking time to explain his thoughts and possible solutions while teaching us all about the fundamentals of maintaining an old house. His quote was reasonable and he understood the limitations we had in terms of budget, time and listed status, and crucially it didn't change - even in the face of material shortages and price hikes. The work was completed to really high standard with minimal disruption, and I'm so impressed with how the team left the site. There aren't many who would ask for a hoover to finish clearing up a job at 6pm on a Saturday!
