During my 26 years in construction I have worked my way up from chief tea brewers assistant and sweeper upper, to team leader and business owner. And alongside my NVQ qualification I have gained several other related industry accreditations and certifications. Along with much hands on experience in many aspects of my own chosen trade in both the UK and France, I also have some experience of certain aspects of other trades and professions within the broader scope of the construction industry. Which helps me to ensure efficient momentum is maintained on a project, and just as crucially that works are carried out safely and in the correct manner. I pride myself on my attention to detail and the thorough nature of my work, and always attempt to stay conversant in current building, fire prevention and health and safety regulations at all times. I am also happy to fulfill the role of Principal Designer under CDM 2015 should your project require. I like to keep my work varied, and am happy to discuss and quote for a wide variety of works both large and small. From single room make overs, to full building refurbs, renovations and conversions. Since my return to Cornwall in 2018 and my subsequent return to trading in January 2024 after completing the renovation of my own home, I have also gathered around me a network of other highly skilled, qualified & insured, honest, reliable and trustworthy tradesmen from several other construction disciplines; who I am happy will also complete their works to the high standard required, and who I am happy to work alongside and recommend to my own clients. Hired David and his team to remove and re render the whole front of my house and re paint once finished. David and his team were perfectly on time with all deadlines and worked to the highest of standards. Was really impressed that at the end of each evening every single thing that could be tidied up was swept and put away even though first thing in the morning there would be more mess.
