Burns Building have just completed taking off rendering and restoring the exterior of my old stone cottage and I could not be more pleased. I had had three quotes from different builders and chose Burns Builders because, not only were they competitive, but Paul Burns was enthusiatic about the job and had several ideas about the restoration which had not occurred to me. The job turned out to be far bigger than we had originally thought because the stonework under the rendering was not as good as expected. Paul often said, "There is no problem we can't solve together" and he was right. The professionalism of the team, their courteousness and helpfulness were second to none and I felt very lucky that I had Paul's team working here. Paul managed the job expertly: if he said something would happen on a particular day, it did. The whole team took a pride in their work and I always felt that it really mattered to them. Their attention to detail was very reassuring and every evening, without fail, the area around the house was left clean and tidy. I would have no qualms about recommending Burns Building and would certainly choose them in the future should I need any more work doing. I am extremely grateful to the whole team.

Gary did a brilliant job removing and rebuilding the floor of my dining room in order to remove rotting wood and fungus within the walls. This was completed over a year ago and the problem has clearly been solved. I then re-hired Gary to remove damp in another wall, and again he did so very effectively, efficiently and methodically. Gary is an all-round builder with a diverse skill set who is able to carry out complex renovations without additional support. Warmly recommended.

Graham and his team are brilliant....they are helpful and thoughtful. I have had to call a halt on the original plan....but I have every intention of employing Graham to continue the works as soon as I can. The work completed is first class, they even managed to save my Victorian ceiling rose and match the coving in the living room....the ceiling had come down! It was repaired beautifully. Hire the team...they are excellent!

The job turned out to be a lot bigger than initial thought. However, the guys worked hard and carried out an excellent job. They explained everything in an easy to understand manner and kept us informed through out the project. They were also happy to carry out other little jobs for us as they went along, nothing was too much trouble. We are having them back for at least two more building projects. Would certainly recommend there services.

Martin and his team did an amazing job on bording and plastering our bedroom celing recently, on 5th and 6th February 2020. The celing and walls in the room were not stright, and celing was uneven, but Martin and his team still were able to do a brilliant job. They cleaned up as they went alonge, they were very polite and honest gave a good price. They arrived on time and date agreed and were carefull and consensus of there work which was done to perfection. Martins even asked his work collegue about our door which was no longer shutting in our bathroom and he kindly offered to plane the door for us. Which had been a bugbear for 6 months. Well done guys will definately have again to do our bathroom flooring problems. I found Martin kind and a very knowlageable man. Cant thank you enough. Mrs wakefield cowbridge
