I Cant find any fault with the work, speed, tidiness of Tom and his brothers, all very friendly and polite, it was a pleasure having them do the job after previously having a very dodgy builder from this site. I was planning an extension to my kitchen, which included a complete refurbishment and the addition of a shower room. I wouldn't recommend Marjan. Although he was a friendly guy there were several things I didn't like. 1) He was not punctual - I later found out that he took on another job. 2) He did not workaround my requirements e.g. he would start the self levelling when the kids would come from school. This meant one afternoon my kids had to spend 3 hours in the garden whilst the self levelling dried. 3) He was not adaptable - he seemed reluctant to do extra work I.e. doing the voltage check on the electric mat so you know it's ok before you lay it down with self levelling. It would have taken 2 minutes. 4) It felt as though he rushed the job and in places the finish is not great, simply because he did not wait for the self levelling or glue to dry. 5) The glue has dried over the LVT and he never cleaned this up. Positives: 1) He trimmed the doors and other wooden panels. 2) Initially he did come back to rectify the poor finish. But I'm noticing more areas now, which he has not fixed

I am pleased with the work done by JVM. Jay designed a good solution to my specification. There was a delay due to problems with the manufacturer delivering the garage door, but otherwise all works were carried out on or before the expected date. Throughout Jay was very good at communicating; progress, work scope and schedule. JVM used good quality materials and skilled tradesmen. They were polite, prompt and considerate toward our neighbours. The site was clean and tidy after each piece of work. I would recommend JVM to a friend.

I gave them work worth over £21000. They were good at doing the ceiling work but I am not happy about the way they left the bathroom. There are places where they have not done grouting and parts of the radiators, holes, left without completing. Damages to my staircase, very expensive French wood wardrobe my double bed and my chandeliers were just left without being fixed.

Man Ho or Calvin Ho' or Man Fu Ho, who owns Carve Engineering Co. Ltd. He also has a Hong Kong branch carve-eng.com . I didn't know he subcontracted the whole project to a group of Chinese mainlanders who couldn't speak English. And he asked a British Gas gas engineer to sign off the plumbing work. I obtained the planning in December 2021. The work started on 31/1/2022 and almost finished now 19/9/2022. It supposed to end in three months time as they promised. It's only a single storey side extension and shouldn't be left unfinished with pipes broke. The workers only came to work once a week and sometimes the work stopped for a month or so. The price included the purchase of a boiler and installation. But there's no timer or thermostat and I was asked to purchase these and install them with extra cost. The workers' van broke down five times and they didn't turn up for five different days. There's no windowsill and they called this a standard window people would install. The exterior wall was painted inconsistent to our original wall and I had to argue to get them pebbledash and repainted. They left the fences on our neighbours. The pipes are still leaking. Shower leaked for 3 months. They even charged extra for the electricity sockets they installed in our kitchen. They took down the mains water supply switch and never install it back so our house has no in house mains water stop valve! They didn't hoover and didn't have a hoover. Avoid this company!
