had a very disappointing experience with this builder. After paying approximately 95% of the agreed cost, the work was left incomplete, including key areas such as the media wall, kitchen, and bathroom. Despite the job not being finished, he repeatedly insisted on receiving full payment. Communication became extremely poor, he often failed to answer my calls or respond to messages, making it very difficult to get any clarity on progress or next steps. He was also resistant to feedback. When I raised concerns or asked for corrections to work that was already done, it was not well received. Partway through the project, progress slowed significantly. Delays were attributed to personal reasons which had not been mentioned at the outset. It also appeared that other jobs were being prioritised over mine, leaving my project unfinished. To make matters worse, he failed to return my house key and did not provide the electrical certificate from the electrician he had introduced.

Extremely professional from the outset. Quote was itemised, therefore no hidden extra costs. We were sceptical to use this site as we had a bad experience before on a different site, however, Dave eliminated any fears we had. We gave Dave artistic licence as we could not decide on bathroom tiles and style. He truly is a master tradesman, fantastic results. We were absolutely delighted with the finished product. Reliable, tidied up after each day and the contractors he used were second to none. Fantastic electrician and plaster used. Brilliant customer experience and we are having him back to carry our further work on our property in near future. I'd also like to add that we found Dave completely trustworthy and we left him the key to our property whilst at work and had no issue with doing this whatsoever ever. Thanks Dave our bathroom and ensuite is five star!

I asked Vince for 2 quotes for white and grey facia, soffit, gutters and downpipes. and I decided to go for the grey colour but he decided to change the quote for higher one. I did not accept hence putting another ad. As I discovered the change of colour does not make a massive difference.

Lee is an excellent choice of someone to work with. A good communicator, problem solver, flexible and has done a great job. Multi skilled and works to a high level of quality. Also has his own contacts so can use them to pull in other trades as needed. A real 10/10! Couldn't ask for anything more. Will be using again.

He was polite, knowledgeable, understood the job that was required and able to offer support and advice and the best way forward for me. He arrived on time, completed the job competently with no fuss, he just got on. He left my house clean and tidy. Very pleased. He was also polite and personable.

I was lucky find Scott to do my whole kitchen. He did a great job, and waited right til the end till he completed everything before we paid him. He had a straightforward approach to the job and was always at hand to give advice on what needed to be done and could be done. I will definitely ask Scott to do any future work I might have. The two man team completed the job quickly, professionally and with care and consideration; I'm very pleased with the result. Communication was good and an unforeseen issue was dealt with promptly. Some companies seem to add a premium as soon as 'kitchen' or 'bathroom' is mentioned, but MI Joinery quoted a good price. I'd use them again.

Will brake this feedback down into 2 parts (Pergola fully covered roof ) started July 29th to date 13th September Part 1 / overall I was happy with the work carried out by Tom and his team so paid in full Upon a few rainey days and a closer inspection I noticed rain was leaking through guttering / roof that was fitted from here the problems began. Part 2 * I booked Thursday Friday off work for Tom to start work he agreed but did not turn up due to a supplier issue on both days no show *We then agreed Monday and Tom did not turn up again due to crono virus * 3 weeks later after chasing daily he agreed a date to come back out and put wright what was wrong with the roof and he was a no show again *finally came out to fix the roof but brought wrong materials so roof is still not fixed called Tom again to arrange another date which he agreed and didn't show up yet again claiming to be in hospital... Overall I have had the worst experience & every excuse under the sun and would never hire Tom/ phoenix joinery again this is a shame as for the best part the work carried out is to a professional level but there is nothing professional about the way I have been treated strung along and still without a completed roof leaving me to finish a job I hired them to do myself. AVOID at all cost his partner Carlos vehicle registration (ly55 err) AVOID!
