Latest review:Repointing-James did a fantastic job. Immaculate workmanship - finished exactly when he predicted - cleaned up after himself. When he came to quote, he very obviously knew what he was talking about, and gave me the confidence to choose him and his company. Not the cheapest quote I had, but he gave me a price up front and stuck to it. No ‘added costs’ or ‘extra jobs’ that came up, so in the end he probably was the most economical. I’m very glad I asked him to do the work, and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him.

Latest review:Repointing-Very pleased indeed with this firm. Small company run by Ledjon who was excellent to deal with. He gave me some addresses of work he had done which were impressive. Removed the ugly ‘decorative’ cladding, replaced a lot of bricks and repointed. I’ll post before and after pics. Ledjon suggested he burn off the paint on the stonework, repair and repaint. Again the result was excellent. Overall I spent about £10k. This was not the lowest quote but I had two that were over £20k! Highly recommended.

Rating: 4.9 out of 5 4.9577 reviewsI should start by saying Tony is a lovely guy. Very friendly and easy going so there was no issues interpersonally. We had him quote for both the repointing job and the removal and correct re-fit of a previously poorly fitted window. Both were done on the same day. The pointing work was ok a little rushed but as an old building it didn’t require perfection. We did have issues with the window. The finish of the sealant was awful and messy with lots of gaps and very slap dash. There was also big holes left around the window and despite refitting was still a gap on one side. We called Tony and he came back to rectify the issue stating his previous colleague was behind the poor finish. Unfortunately on the second visit the feedback was much the same. The window is securely in but the finish is rushed and definitely not what you’d expect from DIY let alone a professional builder. We are having to scrape out and redo all sealant where we can. Tony’s quote was one of the highest we received but we wanted it done well. No discount was offered for the cost we’ve now incurred to rectify. They did offer to come back again a 3rd time but with the exact same feedback as the 2nd visit we didn’t see the point. Nice guy but not one if you’re after a high quality finish.

Then carried out the work a few days later (pointing to a new door frame). He corrected the previously condemned pointing and installed new pointing to the high standard I expected. I am an architect by profession. He was charming and courteous to deal with. I would be happy to contract him again, or recommend him to others.

Ioaniss was friendly, kind and professional. His tradesmen worked efficiently on my house exterior to remove the existing pebbledash and repoint the brickwork. Highly recommend!
