You times 12 x 13 which is 156 square ft, but you already knew that.
You should be working in metric, as most flooring is sold in metres.
This would convert to 3650 x 3960 total 14.45 square metres approx, order enough for 15 square metres to allow for waste.

You x the length by the width. In your case 12x13 foot is about 3.7x4m = 14.8 metres squared. So buy yourself on extra pack over a floor covering of 15 m squared.

Hi Tracey
You will need 18m3 of flooring.12=4m and 13=4.3m,so 4x4.3 =17.2.

The pack contents are in sq. mts. so I would divide the foot measurement by 3, and that will give you the metres , ie 4 x 4.3 =17.2.Make sure you get a pack more than you need in case of damaged boards or mistakes! You can always take it back.Don't do the job yourself- it looks easier than it is!
