Duncan is a very polite, knowledgeable, conscientious and skilled craftsman. He is also a really nice bloke who is intelligent and interesting and a pleasure to have around the house. He came round at very short notice to assess the job, advised us of all the options, and then booked the work in very promptly.
He arrived, on time, with everything prepared, and worked hard the whole day. Noticing a couple of things that needed doing, after consulting us, he went out and got the items, fitted them at practically no charge, to ensure that everything was completed to an excellent standard.
We would recommend him to anyone! We were so lucky to find him.

nice bloke very informative gave a quote within 30 mins of posting job said he was in between jobs and volenteered to get light i had chosen from hernebay homebase .

Duncan completed the electrical work at a Victorian property that I had recently purchased. The house had previously been divided into to flats and shortcuts had been taken. Duncan sorted everything out including replacing the consumer unit, earthing the property, installing new sockets, lights and switches, replacing old light fittings etc. He was very communicative throughout the project, a pleasure to have around and even came round on a Saturday afternoon with a spare key when I had accidentally locked myself out! I would definitely recommend Duncan and will be using him for all electrical jobs I need done in the future.

Highly recommended - hard working professional . In relatively short notice when we have been let down by other electrician he came and made a fusebox safe and certified . The breakers behind the metal front have started to melt and and they had smoke stains on sides , thanks to his eagle eye that was spotted and fusebox replaced . The fuses could have caught the fire so we are lucky and greatful .

we are very happy with Duncan's work. He did a great job of dealing with ugly trunking in a house we just purchased. He has managed to help us retain some spur sockets but completely hidden the wiring so it all looks very neat without carving up the wall.

He was very careful and detailed whilst dealing with our electrical certificate as well as the remedial action required and was very fair with his rate. We highly recommend him.

Duncan completed an inspection on our house for the electrical system, following an invite through this website. I found him very knowledgeable and thorough in his work, particularly given that I asked so many questions! He is an extremely friendly guy and very open and straighforward about costs, etc. I would recommend Duncan without hesitation (and have done already) and I intend to have him back to make changes to our electrics in the New Year.

Duncan was very professional in his approach to fitting an extractor fan and new lighting to my bathroom. He ensured that they were both fitted to electrical safety regulations suited to the environment, and established a new earthing system accordingly. I would have no hesitation in contacting Duncan with regard to any future electrical installations or problems. Very satisfied overall!

What can I say, other than Duncan was an excellent choice of electrician. He was polite and courteous, really new his legislation and provided me with lots of additional information regarding what I needed/didn't need in order to legally rent my property. He was wonderful at giving me options for my requirements and provided me with 3 quotes to suit my budget needs. He got the job done quickly and efficiently and was a real pleasure to be around. He exceeded my expectations and has left me feeling very confident of the work completed. He even called me back, after being paid, as he had noticed he had forgotten something small and came back the same day to finish it off. Very impressed, as he could have got away without me knowing! I will definitely be calling him back to attend to the needs of my other property. I cannot recommended Duncan highly enough. If you are nervous about being led down the garden path on what needs doing I would suggest going for Duncan, as he actually saved me lots of money with the options he suggested.
