Absolutely brilliant. From start to finish. Clean, efficient, skilled and for a good price. Couldn’t have asked for more.

I employed Dave to do some building works, namely; some taking down & replacement of some ceilings, removal of some old plastered walls which then had to all be replaced, painting the entire interior of the property as well as rectifying a lintel over a window that had slipped. I would have to say that his quoted price was very reasonable and he was very punctual with his time keeping/hours of work each day, very polite and very tidy (keeping the mess to a bear minimum) & completed all the required works within the time fame originally quoted. With all of the above in mind, i even extended the works i asked him to do by getting him to paint the exterior of the property as well. Obviously i shall be using him again for any future requirements that i have and wouldn't have a moments hesitation in recommending him to others.

The job was carried out to my entire satisfaction.

Dave removed an old lintel and replaced with a new concrete one. Dave is very knowledgeable with no pressure to accept his quote which was very reasonable. He was on time and did exactly what he said he would and I will certainly hire him again. I would not hesitate to recommend Dave.

Dave did a professional job and was friendly and helpful. He was a good problem solver when things outside his control (regarding Howden's, the kitchen supplier) went wrong.

Dave and his team were all great. The work is of a really good quality and they have allowed my house to finally feel like a home. All stages were explained and we were kept fully aware of where we were with the renovation via text, email and phone. This was especially useful in terms of room order as this allowed us to clear rooms as required rather than all at once. When a problem arose Dave explained all the options to get it sorted out and gave us time to decide without any pressure. His team were all friendly and polite and I would use his services in the future and recomend him to anyone I knew who needed a builder.

I solicited Dave's services for an extensive list of repairs required for my property. The works consisted of reinstating the damp-proof course that had failed, installation of electrical works, structural repairs, demolition and decorating. Dave was able to take the works at short notice and complete these activities within the required time period to a very high standard. Dave project managed and worked on a complete re-furb of our Victorian flat and we are delighted with the result. All the workmanship is of a very high standard including a new bathroom and real wood flooring throughout. Dave is excellent at keeping in touch with regular updates on progress (with photos). All the tradesmen who work with him were very pleasant and polite. I would recommend Dave to anyone.

Decided on Dave at Southsea Building Maintenance to undertake our work for a number of reasons. Dave was very prompt to reply to the job, come out and quote, provide quote and answer a number of questions in preparation for the job. All communication in person, text, phone and email was good. Although the quote wasn't the cheapest, more importantly we were confident that the quote was realistic and competitive considering the materials, time and the workmanship involved. We wanted a complete service leaving no additional tasks left for us. Dave was able to provide this. We also wanted an external storage unit built which was completed along side our ensuite alteration. Dave and Dan were personable which was important considering the time spent with us, cleaned up after themselves both inside the house and outside on the shared private drive, were reliable, did what we wanted but provided guidance as well. We were very pleased with the work done, extremely professional, we would happily use them again and recommend them to friends.
