    Quote received for removal of a large overgrown hedge and an old fence wedged against block paving and replacement fences with concrete posts and concrete gravel bords. The hedge removal involved the use of a mini digger to to make sure that the roots were removed. There was a few weeks wait for Paul to be available to do the work which is a good sign as good tradesman are busy. The work was completed to a good standard with quality materials at a fair price and I would recommend Paul for fencing.

    I would highly recommend PCA and will be using their services again. PCA removed and replaced a long length of fencing at our home. The work has been done to an incredibly high standard and under difficult conditions as the land was filled with a lot of old tree roots and the previous fence was in tatters.

    Paul and his team were great to work with - they were always on time, friendly, courteous and proactive in talking to the neighbours and communicating how the end result would look.

    The fence itself looks great and we're all over the moon. A great price for a great job.

    I would like to highly recommend Paul and PCA Home and Garden Services for the work they did, replacing my fence. Despite an unforeseen challenge during the job, Paul was able to make a suitable recommendation to overcome the problem and the job was complete on time and to the specification agreed. The materials used were good quality.

    They were quick to come out a quote and his quote was very competitive. Communication was excellent. They did a very good job and were even kind enough to pop back round after the work was complete to check that I and my neighbour were both happy with the job. I will certainly get another quote from them for any future work.

    We are really pleased with the patio, Paul and Chris did a very thorough and professional job. Paul also helped us with elements of the design and we were very pleased with his advice.

  • Fitting 12 curtain poles in new house

    We were dissapointed with the work carried out. One curtain pole has been placed too low to open the french doors another has fallen out of the wall 2months after being installed. Builder did not come with the correct tools and asked us if we had them to cut the poles shorter. we did not have them so they now have marks left on them from where they were marked to be shortened. Contacted builder to correct the mistakes after 2months of excuses we still have to hire someone else to correct the above issues.

    The other poles fitted have so far been fine but overall disappointed with the work.

  • Fence and tree removal

    We hired Paul to take down some trees in our front garden and put up a fence in their place. The job was made difficult by existing tree stumps which couldn't be seen until the existing trees were removed. Despite the difficulties, Paul was persistent and spend the extra time so that aesthetics weren't compromised. The completed fence looks very good and we are very pleased with the result. I'm happy with the work Paul did and I'd recommend him.

    Paul has done an outstanding job which involved laying a new patio and a complete garden makeover. His attention to detail and hard work are highly commendable. I would definitely hire Paul again;indeed he is going to do some work on my front garden at a later date.

  • Complete garden makeover required

    Before Paul started the job my "garden" was in an extremely overgrown state making it impossible to use. There was an uneven patio with lots of weeds coming through. It took Paul and Connor a full day just to clear the garden even though it is not the biggest garden in the world.
    Now the garden has been completely transformed. There is a now a beautiful york stone patio, which has received many compliments from people, with a beautiful path leading up to a summer house. Paul also built the summer house which was delivered in about 1000 pieces and he did a really good job of putting it all together. He also put up a 3m awning and ensured it was level. I wanted something to break up the sea of plum slate and the patio. Paul suggested railway sleepers which look lovely.
    All in all I am very happy with the quality of the work carried out and I now have a beautuful, useable garden...roll on spring and summer is all I can say.

    Paul was friendly and did a fantastic job of our patio, and when we asked for a little bit extra, there was no problem. The Job took a little longer than was estimated but we also asked for a little bit more.

    Paul's administration skills are not his best asset, but then I again I was paying for a gardener and not an accountant. He also offered some good advice too. A job well done, highly recommended.
