Alex and the team did a super job for us. All of his tradesmen are polite and tidy, and have a very high standard of finish. In particular, Alex was the only builder who spent a lot of time beforehand to understand the scope and identify potential issues before starting work, which consequently meant the project went without major surprises, interruptions or unforseen costs. He also managed the critical parts of the build to bring the timeline forward, despite challenges with material availability post lockdowns. The only negative was that our project was probably a fill in job for Alex, so communication was sometimes a bit rushed and impatient, but the guys on site were always responsive and made sure questions etc got dealt with. Overall we're very happy that we went with Alex, and so far (6 months on) we've had no snags or issues to deal with.

Alex and his team have been brilliant so far. They are still working on my cottage renovation and extension. I have been so pleased with the help and advice I have received so far. Alex is an excellent communicator, he takes the time to explain things very clearly . He shares his ideas freely and the quality of the workmanship is first class. He has a network of experts that he can call on to enable him to deal with everything for me. His quoting system is fully itemised on a spread sheet and his bills have matched what was agreed each time. Although we still have a way to go, Alex has allowed me to continue my project with confidence. Very happy.

Our building project was a two storey extension to create a new open plan kitchen diner and two double bedrooms. It was hugely important to us that the new extension was modern yet sympathetic to the existing house which was built in the 1800s. Finding the right building company was essential for our project due to the nature and quality of the finish we required, and we are extremely pleased that we chose Parker SW ltd. In meeting Alex for the first time we were immediately struck by his positive and conscientious approach, and felt confident that he would be able to deliver the product that we wanted. Alex provided an itemised quote for our project, breaking down all costs and giving timescales for completion, all of which turned out to be accurate. Alex and his team are all highly skilled, professional, and respectful taking a huge amount of pride in all aspects of their work. Now that our project is completed, our extension has significantly exceeded our expectations. Everybody who visits our house is blown away by the quality of the work and overall finish. We could not be happier that we chose Alex Parker for our project and would unreservedly recommend him for any prospective building work that you have planned.

Alex has been excellent throughout our extension project. He’s been very responsive, proactive and straight down the line. Working in engineering I know all to well what can go wrong with projects and I’m more than happy that we chose Alex, things don’t always go 100% to plan but he always worked with us to find a solutions. All the site lads were very helpful and polite (our neighbors even commented on it to us!) I’m more than happy to recommend him and his team.

We were really happy that we chose Alex. His enthusiasm and the quality of the workmanship and finish was excellent. His small team of builders, joiners and plumbers were very respectful and made everything easy and any little problems were sorted out really quickly.
