Alex and his team have done a fantastic job with our extension! This was our first building project, so we wanted to find someone we could work with to take any worry away from the process and Alex did just that. They were great to work with and we are delighted with the end result! Alex gave great help and advice throughout the processes, was quick to reply to questions, kept us informed on how the build was progressing against the quote and costs and was a pleasure to deal with. The quality of their work is outstanding, was completed in good time and the site has been left clean and tidy now that everything is complete. We’d highly recommend Alex and his team!

Alex and the team did a super job for us. All of his tradesmen are polite and tidy, and have a very high standard of finish. In particular, Alex was the only builder who spent a lot of time beforehand to understand the scope and identify potential issues before starting work, which consequently meant the project went without major surprises, interruptions or unforseen costs. He also managed the critical parts of the build to bring the timeline forward, despite challenges with material availability post lockdowns. The only negative was that our project was probably a fill in job for Alex, so communication was sometimes a bit rushed and impatient, but the guys on site were always responsive and made sure questions etc got dealt with. Overall we're very happy that we went with Alex, and so far (6 months on) we've had no snags or issues to deal with.

Alex and his team have been brilliant so far. They are still working on my cottage renovation and extension. I have been so pleased with the help and advice I have received so far. Alex is an excellent communicator, he takes the time to explain things very clearly . He shares his ideas freely and the quality of the workmanship is first class. He has a network of experts that he can call on to enable him to deal with everything for me. His quoting system is fully itemised on a spread sheet and his bills have matched what was agreed each time. Although we still have a way to go, Alex has allowed me to continue my project with confidence. Very happy.

Our building project was a two storey extension to create a new open plan kitchen diner and two double bedrooms. It was hugely important to us that the new extension was modern yet sympathetic to the existing house which was built in the 1800s. Finding the right building company was essential for our project due to the nature and quality of the finish we required, and we are extremely pleased that we chose Parker SW ltd. In meeting Alex for the first time we were immediately struck by his positive and conscientious approach, and felt confident that he would be able to deliver the product that we wanted. Alex provided an itemised quote for our project, breaking down all costs and giving timescales for completion, all of which turned out to be accurate. Alex and his team are all highly skilled, professional, and respectful taking a huge amount of pride in all aspects of their work. Now that our project is completed, our extension has significantly exceeded our expectations. Everybody who visits our house is blown away by the quality of the work and overall finish. We could not be happier that we chose Alex Parker for our project and would unreservedly recommend him for any prospective building work that you have planned.

Alex has been excellent throughout our extension project. He’s been very responsive, proactive and straight down the line. Working in engineering I know all to well what can go wrong with projects and I’m more than happy that we chose Alex, things don’t always go 100% to plan but he always worked with us to find a solutions. All the site lads were very helpful and polite (our neighbors even commented on it to us!) I’m more than happy to recommend him and his team.

All good so far. Job underway and have every confidence in Alex Parker and his team.

We were really happy that we chose Alex. His enthusiasm and the quality of the workmanship and finish was excellent. His small team of builders, joiners and plumbers were very respectful and made everything easy and any little problems were sorted out really quickly. The site was kept tidy and the build was completed on time and to budget. Approachable, helpful and efficient and really chuffed with how the extension has turned out

I would be happy to recommend Alex to anyone thinking of undertaking building work. The work was of a very high standard and met all of our expectations. Communication was excellent and we felt we were able to ask any questions necessary, and trusted Alex's input. Alex put us at ease throughout the process and we were confident that the job would be satisfactory from the first meeting.

Completed the job 18 months ago, overall I was happy with the work but I found him difficult to deal with. Felt the job was priced competitively but the price for any extra work was excessive, didn't take feedback about issues well wanting to send emails rather than discuss them face to face. Also damaged my property while working and tried to cover it up rather than telling me. Contacted him about an issue a couple of months after the job was completed and never heard back from him so has to sort it out myself.

The job was to knock down part of an outhouse attached to our house and then rebuild it, turning a substandard storeroom and outside lavatory into a first rate large wetroom and storeroom; remove a rickety lean-to greenhouse and replace it with a sunroom/modern greenhouse The workmanship was excellent, the brickwork being very favourably commented upon by a chance visitor who happened to be a professional designer, architect and town planner. Alex was very professional, always keeping us informed of progress, telling us immediately of any problems and keeping to his word.
