My name is Neil Pitchford and I have worked in the Gas Heating sector since 1979. I don't work on hourly rates, my labour cost is fixed no matter how long the job takes, that cost being determined by the nature of the specific work required. I am available for work on weekdays only. I don't do Boiler swaps or C/Heating installations anymore but work on boiler service & repairs. I also fit cookers & gas hobs and install most chimney based gas fires as well as offering repairs to those as well.

About Imgas services (Scotland)
I started working in the industry in 1979 when I left school and entered a five year apprenticeship. I started to specialise in the heating sector in 1981 after doing two years in plumbing.
In total, I have worked for 17 years in the public sector and am now entering my 26th year in the private sector. I worked for a major Boiler manufacturer from 1997 to 2011 and for the next four years after that in the home emergency repair sector of a national motor breakdown company.
I have worked in all types of property from caravans to stately homes with my work being primarily the repair and maintenance of existing Central Heating systems and boilers.
Due to my age, I'm afraid I no longer offer boiler or full Central Heating installs but now specialize in maintenance work. I am available from Monday to Friday but don't work weekends any longer.
I am qualified in Natural Gas installations and maintenance.
I hold my own Gas safe registration and also hold public liability insurance. I live in Glasgow, where I have been resident for the last eleven years.

No hot water Gas Work
Neil was really efficient in getting to the bottom of my boiler issue. I was worried I was going to have to replace my boiler but Neil reassured my boiler was top of the range and built to last. I wouldn’t hesitate to call him if I had any more issues.

Replace existing gas fire with new model Gas Work
Neil arrived promptly and removed the old gas fire. There was some additional work required regarding the existing metal chamber for the fire that required adjusting.
Neil advised that this was best done by another tradesman, as he preferred smaller jobs. There was no charge for removal of the existing gas fire.
