Hi, I'm Andrew, I'm 55 years old and I've many years experience in interior decor and re-furbishment. I started out in life as an artist, so have a good eye for detail and design. I'm polite, reliable and thorough. I am more than happy to provide testimonials and photographs of my past work to reassure you as to my high level of finish. I specialise in whole Interiors, with an emphasis on individuality. If you want your property to be a place you look forward to coming home to, we should speak.

About Fairbrother Interiors

I have been self-employed for the last 14 years and in this time I have done a lot of my work in the pub/restaurant refurbishment business and acquired a lot of knowledge and new skills. I was fitting out and tiling high-end restrooms and was heavily involved in the interior decor of the bar/restaurant areas.
It's fair to say that the mainstay of my work is in domestic properties. I do a lot of work for some small, local developers, both ordinary rental properties to high-end 'boutique style' interiors, the latter of which is something I have really gotten into.
These interior refurbs tend to be projects that may last for some months, so I augment my work in 'quieter' times with interior decor jobs and kitchen or bathroom fit-outs. I've been lucky enough to get most of my work via word-of-mouth and new jobs from existing clients.
I am happy to do anything to my client's remit, but what I really relish is the opportunity to excersise some flair and to give advice to my clients, who are often stumped as to what to actually do with a room/space, or have a clear idea of what they'd like, but little idea of how to achieve it. This is the part of my job I get out of bed for in the mornings!
These were the reasons I got into the trade. I started out as an artist who had decent ability in DIY, but worked in advertising, to becoming someone who got very good at DIY and decided to leave the 'rat race' and pursue something that felt like a vocation, rather than just "a job". I've never been happier and never looked back.
I have developed a good reputation for my work and eye for design-led interiors. I try to provide a combination of good, old-fashioned, properly prepared and executed interior decor, utilising up to date methods and materials to give my client the high-end finish that I feel all properties deserve. It's fair to say, if you're looking for someone to slap some magnolia emulsion on to anaglypta, then I'm probably not for you. But if you want a room that you want to be in, that makes you feel good when you're in it, whether it's a single room in your house, or your entire house, from the bare bones to the finished result, then I'd love the opportunity to speak with you.
I undertake any and all work in interiors from bathroom and kitchen fit-outs, wall and floor tiling to the the final (the most important part in my opinion) interior decoration. Feel free to browse my photo gallery to see what I have done for others. If you feel that I could do something special in your own home (and I know I could!) Please give me a call.

Proud to have learned my skills vocationally, working alongside great tradesman for many years. I started life as an artist and bring that eye to my work in interior decor. I've taken courses in paint-spraying with Dulux Decorators, to hone my paint spraying skills, another string in my bow toward achieving the best possible finish for my clients. In the early years I did courses in wall and floor tiling, interior decorating and kitchen worktop cutting and installation. These were all to teach basic technique. I've worked on so many domestic and commercial re-furbishments that I've developed skills in many areas.
