    He brought the wrong colour flooring. We had chosen a lighter one but he laid dark oak. He had laid so much of it before I noticed, so I decided to let him finish it rather than have to wait for him to reorder the correct one and pull up what he had already done. He did make a good job of it but he wasn't very sociable and left packing material and tile off-cuts laying about after he left which I had to dispose of myself. Not very professional in my opinion.

    He has started the job but he hasn't finished. He was very rude. And we found the floor makes noise , instead of fixing the problem he threw things around and left. So I have to find some one else to finish my work and lost my money and time. I will not recommend him to anyone else. If the previous feedback are true, he must be a racist because we are not white.

    The last sentence of this feedback sums this customer up perfectly. What a ridiculous thing to say from someone who doesn’t know a single thing about me.
    I dropped everything and moved all of that weeks work around to squeeze this customer in because they desperately needed their flooring done quickly.
    Day one was fine, day two they had painters in glossing all of the doorframes and painting the entirety of upstairs, this left me unable to do anything and I had to finish at midday on the second day. Remember, it’s the customer that needed this job done quickly.
    Third day, I turn up and start with the work I was supposed to be doing the day before. I’m laying the laminate and the customer expects me to uplift everything I’ve done because he has a squeaky floorboard. He’s rushing me to get it finished and I’m already working the bank holiday weekend to get it done for him and now he’s going behind me and expecting me to rip up all of the laminate I’ve laid because he wants me to sort HIS squeaky floorboard. Not once in the entire time I was there did he mention anything to do with floorboards, nor were they my responsibility to sort, I’m a floor layer, not a builder!
    I explained to him that I’m running out of time and cannot make any more time to free up, as again, work had to stop at midday. He was refusing to pay so things got heated.
    To call me a racist is hilarious, what a small minded man. His wife was lovely, it was him that was the problem not his skin tone!

    The guy was quick and efficient. Two other fitters suggested the work would take 2 days. He finished in approx 6hrs. We got a floor laid, but some damage to new kitchen (corners of island etc.) which we were not told about. Upon discovering damage and informing the fitter, was told “sorry, I forgot”
    Elite Flooring's reply:

    Not entirely true, I accidentally scraped a kitchen corner as I had to cut the wood so tight around a kitchen unit and then couldn’t get it back out again... it was a very small mark and I completely forgot to mention it to the home owner and then subsequently completely forgot about it as it didn’t seem much of a problem at all. We’re only talking about a scratch that is no bigger than a centimetre in size. When homeowner text me about it three weeks later I owned up, apologised and said I’d forgot to mention it to them. I agreed to give partial refund if silicone didn’t cover it, this is how small we are talking. Never heard anything back from homeowner except for this negative feedback another 3-4 weeks later! I went above and beyond for this customer, fitting a huge amount of wood in one day for them, working around washing machine, table, two large fridge freezers and other stuff (all without charge) so I could get it done for them, I just think he could have communicated with me instead of leaving bad feedback, some customers have very short memories!

    Customer text yesterday to ask if I was still coming tomorrow, I replied yes I was! She then attempted to call me twice this evening at 8pm while I wasn't with my phone, then text to say that as I hadn't answered she doesn't want me to come and fit the flooring tomorrow and she would make other arrangements! I tried calling twice and she wouldn't answer and now an hour later has left negative feedback.
    What was so urgent to call anyway at 8pm when I had already confirmed I was coming tomorrow?
    First negative feedback on here and massively unhappy with this customer, no need at all for a massive over-reaction that could now affect my chances of winning work elsewhere.

    Very happy with choosing Scott for the laying of laminate flooring in both my lounge and hallway - not an easy task with so many doors off the hallway to negotiate and furniture in the lounge to work around.

    Scott arrived at the time he said, and got straight to work taking up the carpet and underlay and worked solidly throughout a hot day, coming back the following week to complete the job with the scotia beading, which was finished to an excellent standard at a very reasonable quote.

    I'm very happy with the quality of the finished work and wouldn't hesitate to hire Scott again for flooring works. He also brought his own water on a hot day, so I could stand down on the usual cup of tea duties!

    Scott and Mitch laid 37 square metres of laminate for me in a day - which they were more than happy for me to source and provide. Their work was excellent; the best laminate I have ever had laid. This is a DIY job but you won't get the finish these guys will, and they even had to replace a damaged board halfway through the job. No quibbles, complaints, just a friendly professional attitude to getting the job done.......WELL. Thanks guys.

    A reliable company or good job completed, frequent phrases loosely banded about by people reviewing work they have requested. But it’s only when the work is not straight forward and has a snag that you find out if the company go that extra to ensure customer satisfaction.
    At the 11th hour, the carpet delivered was the incorrect shade and the supplier was talking about redelivering the following week. We were replacing carpet in 4 rooms which had already been cleared of furniture. Elite carpets worked with their contacts to arrange for a delivery the next day. Our job was completed within 24 hours of the original plan.
    It would have been very easy for Elite Flooring to walk away and return the following week, but to their credit they went that extra mile to ensure they provided top customer satisfaction.
    Would I recommend them, Yes I would based on the work completed being top notch, a very competitive price and customer service that was as good, if not better than their competitors.
    Based on the work they did for me, they won't let you down. Thanks for an excellent job.

    Very happy with the work carried out. They had considerable difficulty as the floor under the old laminate they were replacing was unexpectedly damp and very uneven. They had to lay small sections of the new floor at a time which meant many visits were required and a great deal of patience! Would highly recommend them.
