We were fortunate to have Bobby handle our planning and building regulation designs, as well as the preparation and submission of our planning development application to the council. This was a challenging project because one of our neighbours objected to our application. Bobby proactively engaged with the planning officer early on to help us address all concerns and considerations they had, which resulted in a smoother approval process. I engaged Home Front Architect in order to get plans for a permitted development loft conversion. A few hours after putting up the job on My Builder, I got a response from Bobby with an estimated fee quote for getting the plans ready which was followed up with a call to discuss. The upfront and value for money fee quote was very attractive and after speaking to Bobby I was reassured that he knew exactly what he is talking about, brought to my attention, a few points that some of the other architects I initially spoke to did not mention. He is a thorough professional who will go out of his way to ensure that he does the best job possible for you, with an extremely personalised experience. Following the initial drawings and property visit, he gave me ideas about how I could maximise the space in the Loft e.g. external chimney breast removal. He was upfront about all matters from the start which was great. He is also well connected with people in the trade and introduced me to a staircase specialist, builders specialising in putting up the loft structure. All of the work itself was overseen by one of his trusteed builders (coincidentally named Bobby) who was a pleasure to deal with and made sure that any deficiencies in the work were picked up and dealt with responsibly before payments were made. I would VERY HIGHLY recommend Bobby @Home Front to anyone looking to get plans drawn up. He is very professional and I have had a very good experience with him so far.

Although we've had to put hold on this work for now due to other issues, I'm sure when this assignment is complete we will be left happy and satisfied. Used Homefront Architecture for my double dormer loft conversion I was very impressed in the quality of the plans and advice given by Bobby, he help me through the whole procedure in completing the architectural plans and permission ,along with the structural plans for my build. I ended up using Bobby and his team to construct the loft structure. Bobby also helped me through the party wall act and building control procedure. Very Happy with Bobby and his team that he recommended work was completed on time, communication was excellent and was kept up to date on the progress of the build.

Bobby has walked us through what can be quite a confusing process. He was always professional and at the end of the phone and email. He has provided much more than just architectural and structural drawings. He has submitted plans for us; pointed me in the right direction in regards to party walls etc; walked through the Thames water build over application; provided us with a very competitive quote for a private building control company and obtained a professional builders quote (at my request) for our build, so we had a something to compare other quotes too. He has been to our house to look at our drains out of hours to ensure he could get plans back in a timely manner and never makes you feel like your a bother. Bobby is friendly, professional and trust worthy. I would highly recommend him and hope to use him again!
