Leaking garage roof
(Updated on 10 Aug 2023)Although the leak was repaired, I took Steven’s advice to block the gutter to the drainpipe to make the roof flat. We had slight pooling before this but now a huge portion of the roof has standing water as it can’t head to the drain. Promised to come back but after 9 months of communication in detail of how he would sort it, now not responding. Unfortunately having to leave this review as another job is needed on the back of his work.
Answer from tradesperson:
Hi Mark, the pooling was due to the fall of the roof running toward the house and not toward the drainpipe, which I did not advise on blocking? I removed the box gutter to channel the water toward the drainage spigot. So the pooling mentioned was always there, in the box gutter. I fixed the leak and after 9 months it still wasn’t leaking ;) but I did promise I would come back, I’ll call in next time I’m passing. Kind regards
