    2 bed flat interior freshen up, white
    Charlie's team worked quickly and efficiently and were extremely helpful and courteous. Job was completed well within quoted time and on budget. I'm happy to recommend this team.

    Paint walls, ceilings and skirting
    Charlie is a likable chap who gets the work done. He had 2 guy's working with him. He explained how long it would take, and even with the office not open for more than 6 hours on some days managed to complete the work on time.

    Full house redecoration
    Avoid at all costs. Walked off a job at my house for which we'd agreed a fixed price, claiming that he'd run out of budget after he'd taken 97% of the money. The work was maybe 60% finished. The job was to strip the wallpaper, make good the walls and repaint, including woodwork. It was a 3 bed house over two floors. House was left in a terrible state - some areas with no topcoat, doors not painted, other woodwork just painted over without being sanded first, messy filling. They bought the wrong kind of paint (Leyland Trade isn't suitable for darker colours), then demanded I pay extra for new paint. And they failed to protect the surfaces around them, resulting in damage to my new floor. I told him it was not good enough and he couldn't just leave it unfinished. He said he'd spent all the budget for the job. But that's the point of a fixed price quote - certainty over the final cost for the client. You can't just walk off because you don't want to do it any more. It's totally unprofessional. I've had to spend a lot of money getting professionals to sort it out. They couldn't believe how it had been left. Just awful.

    The team here at Splodge of paint, pride ourselves on all works we undertake. Our reviews are exemplary. I have never been challenged to uphold my professional ethics of work and read the verbal onslaught that has been left. This customer has left this review, so I feel I have to put it right and correct. The job was a full Redecoration throughout. We were told rooms would be clear for us for when we started, which was incorrect. We arrived on agreed day and time, with plaster still wet and other trades were all in different rooms. We then told the customer we would not work amongst this especially with all the mess from/made by other trades. I gave my absolute best to try and satisfy the customer, as he had a moving in date. The tradesmen were walking on and off site, with mess and dust everywhere. At Splodge of Paint we pride ourselves in leaving clients overwhelmed and satisfied. The said client's contractors working on site, left holes made in all the new coving and dado rail woodwork throughout the property, from poor finished work by the carpenter. We corrected the marks and other damages to the best we could, by going over unfinished work left by the other tradesmen, which we was not paid for. We went over the time scale and budget agreed at the start and due to the lack of very poor unorganised communication. Unfortunately extra funds where not forth coming. I should of walked off from the start! This is an unwarranted review. I will leave it there!

    Basement crypt Painter decorator
    Fantastic guy and his team professionally executed the job well within time frame. Nothing was to much bother, he was helpful right through. Charlie and his team have excellent communication with other trades and clients. Very very happy , will certainly use Charlie and his team again cheers guys ... Jane

    Painting a 2 bed flat in a listed Warehouse building.
    I posted the decorating job in January and Charlie visited to assess what needed to be done and followed up with a quote soon after. I delayed the job because of COVID but Charlie kept in touch until I was happy to begin. The job was done well and I was pleased with the final finish. The preparation of the walls and ceilings was good, no cracks and holes etc. His team were very good, efficient, professional and good humoured.They kept me fully informed of what needed to be done and how the job was progressing. I am therefore very happy to recommend Splodgeofpaint.

    Painting job in Bermondsey
    Very happy with the work Charlie and his team of painters did, the flat looks amazing now that it has been painted throughout. It cost a little more than the original quote as some walls needed more than two coats but was well worth it to get the final result. Charlie and his team worked in a clean, professional way and tidied up the flat after the job was done. They also got the job done in good time and didn't have a problem with doing a few extra jobs along the way. Charlie was always on hand to take my calls and very friendly and helpful, I would happily use him and his team again. Thank you Charlie

    Paint Bedroom Walls, Ceiling and Skirting Board
    Charlie and his colleague done a great job on my two double bedrooms, worked professionally, respectfully and communication was brilliant. Answered all my questions and all my concerns, would be more than happy to have them both back for more work in the future. Thanks Guys :)
