    Replace 2 windows and 1 door
    Mark originally agreed to do the job and all seemed good. He has given us 3 different start dates and not showed up or called / messaged to explain why. We are now seeking someone else.

    Answer from tradesperson:

    Firstly I’d like to say we only had confirmation we had been hired this morning for the fitting of the pvc window and door this morning? So how you can say you gave us the order for this work and we have given you 3 dates to do this work for you is beyond me ! The only contact we agreed was to supply and fit 1 timber window for you and now it is made the glass has been ordered. After giving negative feedback please post on here where you gave us conformation of the door and window fitting . Or have I missed something!!!! . We await your response

    Hanging Bedroom Doors
    Found Mark to be very professional from the moment he came to see us for a quote on the work to be done. He was prompt, courteous and clean throughout the whole work process. Helpful and kept us well informed, would recommend him to anyone interested in hiring his services, in fact, we have just confirmed with him another job that needed doing.

    Under stairs cupboard
    Mark and his team did excellent work constructing some stud partitions at our office unit. Efficient, tidy, good communications and generally exceeded our expectations. We had not used Somerset Maintenance and Property Services before but we certainly would again should the need arise.

    Renovate and modernise stairs and landing
    Couldnt be happier with the work completed, would definitely recommend this builder. I have other work which we plan to get done next year and will be calling on Mark again.

    Make good a forced entry door
    Mark was very friendly, professional and helped us at short notice. They tidied up after completion and did an excellent repair. Thank you.

    repair to conservatory

    I accepted Mark's quote to repair rot in a conservatory, but am unable to report on the quality of his work because after poor communication and missed appointments I made other arrangements.

    Answer from tradesperson:

    I find this very unfair Geoff as I called you the morning we were due to come and take the roof off of your conservatory as it was raining and the forecast was for rain all day . We both agreed it was not the best day to undertake these works . I have not missed an appointment with you ! . I'm glad you have made other arrangements and hopefully that contractor with get a dry day otherwise he will get the same negative feed back also .

    Garden Log-Fence Repairs and Rear Porch
    We booked Mark to start our job on 10 July, which he said would take 5 days to complete. Unfortunately due to a double-booking, this was delayed for a week. Then sadly due to the sudden illness and subsequent bereavement of one of Mark's close family, the job was delayed week by week until mid-August, when we were no longer available to be around. It's a shame that Mark didn't cancel the whole job early on so that we could find someone else, rather than delaying it week by week until time ran out. I'm sure he would have done an excellent job, going by all the great feedback he has had, and I hope that he gets back on track again soon.

    Three alcoves needing cupboards and shelving above
    Very pleased with the work completed. A few missed communications due to me not being around and dealing on email. But all rectified on the day and to the orgianal price. Mark is a really helpful too. Highly recommend.

    Removal of doors and new partition
    A fantastic job, Mark and his team completed everything within a day and to a very high standard. Would use again.
