I was going to attempt this job myself but because we have clay soil it would have been very difficult. Therefore, we hired Simon as he was very pleasant, knowledgeable and explained which kind of shrubs to buy as we want to attract smaller birds and insects. On the day Simon rotovated our soil and added sand etc to make it more workable. He seemed to make light work of the job and only too a few hours and then cleaned after wards. I would certainly recommend him to anyone. Well done and Thankyou. 10/10

Fairly straight forward job but required some hard manual work. We are really pleased with the outcome of Simons work on our garden. Very helpful and kept us informed on delays with the material delivery (not Simons fault). The final outcome looks great. Finding reliable and honest people is not always easy and we will be using Simon again for future garden work. Would recommend!

Simon has created the most wonderful, relaxing, cottagey garden with a tropical feel and rockery planting areas. It was a difficult job, as the garden had to be dug by hand as sloped uphill, was tiny, and no access as I'm in a basement. He created two seating areas, as per my spec, and I bought the sleepers and crazy paving with Yorkshire stone, which he used to create patio areas and winding steps and it looks fabulous. Whilst it wasn't without some hiccups on timing, (it took a lot longer than he had realised) and the cost of materials increasing, (thanks Brexit!) we came to a mutual agreement on costs. Overall however the increase in the budget was overshadowed by the amazing job he achieved. Everyone loves it and it was exactly the way he had drawn up the design. He's a knowledgeable guy and easygoing. He worked damn hard as we couldn't get a digger in, so him and his chum did it all by hand. Not easy... It has added a really beautiful space for me, and the view from my bedroom window is now full of plants, and interesting foliage. He's coming back in a few weeks to check on the plants, and tweek anything. A lovely job!

Excellent from start to finish. Simon came out to assess the job and at that stage we had very little vision of what we wanted to do with our garden. Simon was happy to work with our limited ideas and came up with an excellent concept for our garden. This was followed up with detailed drawings and a timely quote. We had 5 quotes in total and Simon’s was both comprehensive and fair. Simon and his team were professional throughout the job, always friendly and courteous and his communication at each stage of the job was excellent. The final result is fantastic and we couldn’t be happier. We have since booked in future work and a maintenance plan for the garden. I couldn’t recommend Simon enough.

I initially contacted Simon as I needed a small job done replacing a collapsed retaining wall. I had a rough idea what I wanted and when he came around to give me a quote he gave really good advice on how to best do the job. So good that I ended up asking him to do an even bigger job. He did a brilliant job transforming my back garden and the front of my house. I found him to be reliable, polite and always courteous and never afraid to share his experience. I was so pleased with the work he did that I have booked him in to do another job for me later in the year. I would highly recommend him.

Simon is a real professional and so knowledgeable, hard working and ready to give sound advice I cannot rate him too highly
