We had to strip the roof and do repairs to the wooden structure and fit new premium waterproof and breathable membrane. We then had to refit the old tiles in accordance with the listed building regulations. Jan is very pleased with the outcome with the results. She knows lots of local people who are involved in the building industry. They have all commented on how good the job has turned out. She has booked more work and is very happy with everything we have done.
This cottage is 17th century, Grade 2 and in a conservation area. The workmanship carried out and the professionalism with which it was done was carried out perfectly. Not only that, but at every stage they explained what they were doing and why. Their reliability was extremely good and I was informed at every stage of the work. The first phase of the work was a flat roof at the rear of the property on an extension roof. We advised a rubber membrane with all new roof trims, fascia and new guttering. Also as part of the first phase of work was a car port area that also extended to the front of the property. We advised extending this area and again fitting a single sheet rubber membrane. Again we fitted trims fascia and guttering. Tony was very pleased with the results and then instructed us to do more work at. his home. We then fitted new fascia, sofit and guttering to the main roof. We also advised fitted verge guard. Again Tony was very pleased with the outcome.
Simon re-roofed rear lounge extension flat roof and my car port flat roof. He also fitted new soffits and guttering, supplied and fitted dry verge fixing to gable end of house roof. Replaced side wall fencing of car port with complete plastic cladding. All work carried out to a high standard in a professional and reliable manner.
