We hired Rock Bubble for a full house renovation, including a single-storey rear extension, garage conversion, new kitchen/living area, utility room, home office, gym, upstairs en-suite, and refurbished bathrooms. The team was fantastic throughout—friendly, approachable, and professional, always clearly explaining decisions and offering valuable advice. Their extensive experience was evident in their excellent handling of unforeseen issues, providing practical solutions that kept the project moving forward smoothly. We’re especially delighted with how the extension and garage conversion turned out; both spaces have truly transformed our home and exceeded our expectations. Their strong connections with other trades ensured excellent coordination, and communication was consistently easy, responsive, and reassuring. We’re extremely happy with the finished result and would highly recommend Rock Bubble to anyone considering similar work.

I can’t recommend Tony highly enough – he’s genuinely one of the best people I’ve ever worked with when it comes to home renovation. From the very beginning, Tony was professional, reliable, and incredibly detail-oriented. Every part of the work he did was carried out with real care and precision. He doesn’t cut corners, and always makes sure everything is finished to a high standard – even the small things that many others might overlook. What really stood out to me is his honesty and transparency. His pricing was clear and fair from the start – no surprises, no hidden costs, and no unnecessary upselling. He always explained the options available and helped me make the right decisions for my home and budget. He also has great communication – always responsive, punctual, and willing to go the extra mile. Throughout the project, he kept everything clean, tidy, and well-organised, and showed real respect for the space and our time.

First of all, a million thanks to Tony and his team for the outstanding job they have done to our property. Very professional from start to finish and within the time scale. Not to mention the extra jobs we wanted along the way which was also done in a timely manner. Tony works on your budget and sometimes go the extra mile to do some jobs (which is not on the job quote to begin with) still does it with no problem and on a very high standard. He is very honest, never rushed the works and making sure we are satisfied. Some minor little things we highlight on them and they do it without any worries. You have to completely trust them though and he will never disappoint you (to be honest it’s really hard to trust builders now these days specially with us who had no experience whatsoever with projects renovating old property like ours but they have done an excellent job!). Tony helps you along the way specially when ordering materials to be use and project manages his team well no wonder they like working with him. I would definitely hire Rock Bubble again 100% with Tony for future home projects.

Tony, his son Gareth and team helped take an old terraced house and restore it back to a modern liveable home. The guys are really nice, helpful and always on hand to answer any queries. Dan

Tony from Rock Bubble took the lead on a complete “back to brick” renovation of a 3 bed semi, project managing every step from start to finish. He spent the time at the beginning to understand what I wanted and worked with me throughout the project to make it a reality. It was a big job including walls being removed/replaced, a complete re-wire, re-plumb, new bathroom, under stairs WC and kitchen amongst many other jobs involving almost every trade you can think of and he leant his knowledge and experience every step of the way to make things as seamless as possible, managing unexpected problems and even getting things done quicker than I expected. He kept in touch throughout which was really helpful as I was only able to visit the site twice a week and was always responsive and available to talk through any questions I had. It can be hard to find a good, reliable builder who listens and wants to work with you but Rock Bubble and Tony especially do just that! Thanks again!

We chose Rock Rubble due to their positive reviews and have been very pleased that we did. We have undertaken what was, for us, a huge project - renovating a house whilst initially living around 30mins away. Tony, Pete, Gareth and the rest of the team supported us throughout the process - including arranging the buildings inspector and liaising with the structural engineer when needed. The rest of the build has been similarly straightforward - we communicate regularly with Tony by phone/whatsapp - we are now living in the house with a few small jobs remaining (the team have been flexible with the other tradespeople that we have had involved) - and are delighted with our house. I would (and have!) recommend to friends and family - when we have a few more pennies in the pot then I would not hesitate to get back in touch with the team for more work in the future.

Rock bubble We chose Rock Bubble to build our extension because Tony and the team stood out with their professionalism communication and punctuality from the very outset. We have been so impressed with them, they completed the work to a high standard and were extremely conscientious, always ensuring at the end of the day everything was tidy and that we had a functioning kitchen for our young family. We are delighted with the end results and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again in the future.

I came across Rock Bubble at' My builder' and got a quick response. Tony visited the site and provided quote on the same day (I never expected a quote on the same day and never looked at my e-mail until I was asked to check. That quick was the response). Things moved pretty quick and work began. I must tell we loved Rock bubble and the name they choose fit well for the team. We had a very smooth and pleasant experience with the whole team and have completed our dream project to our satisfaction. Peter always there with his approachable nature and ready to listen and does the work perfectly. Tony always at the end of phone call and communicating and checking each stages of the work and visited site at the crucial points. The whole team worked very positively and work was carried out in a timely fashion and as agreed. Very easy to work with and very reliable. Everyday they were at the site and never had to worry and always kept us informed of the progress and plan. My son was able to talk with the team anytime during the project work We are very grateful for all the work done to make our 'Home' more beautiful. Very happy with the work completed and the finished job. Tony led the work on our project and unlike most builders was onsite every day. This gave a continuity to the project that most builders don't. It also meant that the minor details, which make a big difference to the finished build, got much more thinking time from Tony as he wasn't stretched across other jobs. Communication was very good, and polite and Tony worked hard to minimise the disruption to our everyday living. A high level of trust built as I allowed Tony to finish key aspects whilst we were away. Darren was also onsite almost everyday and was very friendly, polite and worked very hard to get the best finish. Darren worked across several trade areas with excellent results, this was a benefit as it meant less people visiting site and quicker work as Darren could perform several jobs. Peter also visited later on and performed excellent joinery work. We had difficult sliding doors to fit which were much trickier than expected, but Peter worked hard to get the finish right and didn't try and rush the job. All the other trades that visited were also polite and hardworking, and worked to meet the requirements and didn't rush to get things done. Overall very happy and highly recommended

Tony messaged after my advertisement for a total refurbishment of a 1-bedroomed flat – kitchen, bathroom, unvented cylinder, lighting throughout, fire door updated and wardrobe. The work was started promptly and finished within the given timescale. The refurbishment was done to a very high standard and any add ons were done promptly. The costing was done fairly and all Rock Bubble employees were very pleasant and easy to work with. Good communication with Tony throughout and I would thoroughly recommend Rock Bubble for any refurbishment. Thanks for everything.
