He was innovative in re-designing the layout in one kitchen to make the most of the space. He installed new appliances and was always helpful and his quality of work was excellent. Review left on 10 Apr 2022Rating: 1 out of 5Tile kitchen walls(Updated on 12 Apr 2022)Rob came promptly to have a look at the job and we agreed on a quote and dates for him to come down to tile. It was at a short notice and we were pleased by his responsiveness. Bit unfortunately, Rob told us a day before his scheduled day that his van has broken down and he could only do it after a few days and we agreed on an alternative date. But on the morning of his rescheduled visit, he told us that he couldn’t get a spare van and hence, our job couldn’t be finished by him on scheduled dates. He offered to do it in the following week but that didn’t work for us and frankly, we didn’t want to wait after second cancellation. We then found an alternative tradesperson to do our tiling.Answer from tradesperson:
Well thanks a lot for negative feedback .. Yes I came out to look at a part finished tilling job which wasn’t as described on my builder advert .. the original tiller had left the unfinished job and parts of it weren’t right .. I agreed at short notice to come and sort the job out for the customer who also then told they were flying home the following week.. so it was a very short time window to complete someone else’s work.. The afternoon of the day I was due to start the job my 17plate transit van blew its engine in Kendal ( oil pump failure). I was stuck without transport. I hired a van but my luck was not with me as they had double booked the same hire van. I then said to the customer I would my best for early the following week to come and do the job for them .. so not only have I got a £4500 bill for a new engine, I also have a negative feedback for not making it to the job… thanks very much 👍🙂🙂.. I try to help my customers out the best way I can all of the time.
