Paul laid engineered wood flooring for us today. He did an excellent job. Before starting he took the time to talk to us and decide which way to place the boards so that they looked best in our odd shaped room. He worked calmly and systematically throughout the day and cleared up afterwards.

My Kitchen and floor tiling looks perfect. This was a big job. Big kitchen from Wren and tiling of entire ground floor (kitchen/dining, office, wc, under stairs) - approximately 44m sq. The finish product is just perfect. Paul's entire team demonstrated significant professionalism and expertise in their services. Living in the house with 3 kids during the works was difficult, but we saw how committed they were to avoid any delays in completion. Paul's team was very personable, good communication and reassuring. They showed integrity and my family found them easy to have around. We are delighted with the results achieved, and offer many thanks for all their superb services. A special shout out to Adam (the tiler), George (the electrician) and Kevin (the plumber). Adam did a perfect tiling job. A class act for sure (see pictures). They started by professionally uninstalling my old kitchen (which I offered to someone to upcycle), and ripping of the vinyl floor.

Paul did an excellent job creating two bespoke alcove cabinets for our front room, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. From the very beginning, he was professional, friendly, and attentive to what we wanted, offering helpful suggestions while still making sure the final design matched our vision perfectly. The craftsmanship is outstanding. The cabinets fit the space beautifully and look like they’ve always been part of the room, with a clean, high-quality finish and great attention to detail throughout. I would highly recommend Paul to anyone looking for bespoke furniture or carpentry work.

We had Paul from PL Carpentry fit our bespoke kitchen and we are thrilled with the end product. The attention to detail, walking us through every step along the way made the process easy and stress free. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Paul and his team to anyone!

I found Paul very polite, prompt and professional and his quote reasonable. Unfortunately, when he arrived to carry out the work the way he was going to do it was at odds with what I thought we'd agreed on. We agreed not to proceed. On reflection, I decided I would have been happy with the work as described to me but I was unable to get my head around it on the day and failed to persuade him to come back and do the work another time. Disappointing for me, and I'm sure his work would have been satisfactory, but he didn't wish to risk his reputation and thought he would be doing that. There was fault on both sides, but I did feel very let down in the end.
