Ian was recommended by a friend. I had an unrealistic expectation of having my 2 bedroom flat redecorated before Christmas, However Ian worked over and above what I had expected included some weekend days and completed the job in the already short timescale. I had left it too late to book anytime off work so left Ian to work whilst I was out working. At first I was a little concerned as to what I might return to, but he always tidied so thoroughly, I wouldn't have even known he had been there if it wasn't for the progress he made. He emailed me with regular updates which I really liked. I originally wanted my bedroom papered with lining paper ready for painting but Ian assured me that he could make the walls smooth enough to paint onto the plaster and this would save money. I agreed to a date for Ian to start and then proceeded to change my mind but he was very happy to accommodate me. On the day Ian arrived on time and stayed for nine hours only taking a 20 minute break. The job is excellent, I am very pleased and will be inviting Ian back as he has various skills that will be useful. Thank you for the feedback.However I was merely one of many before me that "didn't work with you to complete".As we mutually agreed from quoting stage as you were unable to go with my initial quote I'd reduce the price to help you out on the agreement I'd complete alongside other projects,we discussed my concerns a couple of days in, of me not being able to complete within the tight schedule,I suggested maybe getting a team in to meet your short timing needs.I received confirmation you'd found a more suitable alternative.I proceeded to pick up tools I had left,to find they were thrown onto the street and items stolen from "other workmen". As you know I didn't charge for days I did,I still wish you luck in the future to complete your project
