Reply created 29 Jul 2026This is a complete fabrication. I understand you're frustrated that you did not buy enough tiles but that's not my error and nobody swore. No tile was damaged, see attached pic. The job was left clean and tidy (however with tools present) and in a way for us to continue next morning at 8am. You did not buy 10% wastage which I advised, and is ALWAYS needed. Due to door frames etc there will always be wastage (tile cuts needed) thats unavoidable. You told me at 9pm that you wanted to hold payment back, but for me to still complete the entire job, because you were 5 tiles short. I said no because no self-employed person works for free on a Saturday, on a promise of payment in two weeks time. So instead you agreed to pay me for what I had done, and that I would return when you have enough tiles. I returned the same night to collect my tools which you had thrown outside. You simply did not buy enough tiles and although I sympathise, I don't work for free. Thanks and good luck with the work.
Thanks Joanne, was great meeting you both

Reply created 2 Jun 2026Hi Jimmy thanks for your review, upto now you have only hired me to level and tile specific rooms. We did discuss the levelling in depth beforehand but apologies if there was a miscommunication. As discussed there would always be a height difference when only levelling one room. I was, and am happy to level the rest of the downstairs to achieve the same floor height. Many thanks, Luke LTL Tiling
