    Wembury Extension Blockwork

I hope you don't make the same mistake as me and hire these, what was that? Builders? Lies, broken promises and a standard of workmanship that beggars belief and, more importantly, falls short of Building Regs requirements. How? No wall ties and mortar in the cavity trays to the depth of 3 inches. The window was also off centre by half a foot. I gave them the chance to put things right. They haven't and won't even communicate. I've got to take down everything they did and redo it, putting me back by months because of the making good. I only needed a hand to get up to eaves level which would have taken me quite a while and, as specialists, I thought they could help. Didn't quite go that way though and now I'm considering legal action. They''ve also left me with all those blocks, no longer any good for building, and they've ruined the insulation sheets which no longer have much of the vapour barrier intact and are covered in the mortar. And the walls, such as they were, were so out of true my dog could've done a better job. All they had to do was raise 5 rows of block on an external insulated wall and what they actually did was leave me with a folly, a ruin, a skipfull of brand new rubble and an awful lot of additional work.

THIS MAN DID MY PLUMMING JOB FOR ME OK BUT THE GUTTER, FASCIAS. QUOTE IS DOUBLE THE PRICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SORRY WONT BE HIRING THIS YOUNG MAN FOR ANY MORE JOBS.

    Answer from tradesperson:

Hi Doreen I'm sorry u feel the quote was a lot for you .but i don't this £125 quote is not unreasonable for labour and meterails for your ( remove old facial board then replace the garage gutting and back board and new Soffit it's a days work for £60 I think I under priced it in fact . I went to a lot of effort for you. I came in your house on a bank holiday Sunday to fix your flush inside the cistern ready for your family visit the next day and I even did extra work that I never charged you for . Sorry for any incovinence caused and hope you get your jobs sorted Kind regards lee

Hi I redesign the customers garden with an large external boundary wall ( length 7 m x 15 m x height 1.8 m ) then split leveled the garden with two retaining walls to make three tiers with steps up the side and slabed all three tiers at the front of the property I put an edging strip around the garden and put decorative stone and colour Chipping's down to finish the job

Lee has completely remodelled the external parts of my property now. He has designed and built 4 boundary walls in the back garden, split levelled the front garden with two retaining walls to make three tiers with steps up the side and slabs on each tier. After all that he put down decorative stone and colour chippings on an edging strip. If he says he will be there at 9, he will actually get there at 8:50 just to make sure he isn't late. I ordered all the materials, the bricks and sand and that, and if I hadn't bought enough he didn't mind going to the wholesalers and getting more. Nothing was too much trouble for him, he really put himself out to make sure the job was done to the highest possible standard. When he was putting the slabs down I changed my mind on the colour after a quarter were already down, and it was no problem for Lee, he just got on with the job without a fuss. The thing I really liked with Lee was that if I told him my idea, he would point out if it might cause any problems and suggest alternative methods. He gets his head down and gets on with the job. I really would recommend him.

For this customer I built an elevated carport the job in tailed digging foundations , pouring concrete , building the structure of the carport , back filling the carport ( 20 ton of back fill ) , render the carport then had it tarmac,d and had the curbs dropped for easy access the customer was very happy with the out come

Lee built our driveway. He was on time everyday and worked really hard to get the job done, even finishing it earlier than expected. The work was at a very high standard and he cleaned up the mess too. I would recommend Lee's work to anyone and it also came in on budget too, which was a bonus. We have also got Lee round to do extra work at the back of the house.
