Review left on 2 May 2019Rating: 3 out of 5Replacing 2 laminate strips between kitchen cupboardsI did not use this company in the end. Possibly through a misunderstanding, the quotation for the job was increased , and I stopped communications as I thought the price was too high for the materials required.Review from Customer of LeBern Customer of LeBern

Total refurbishment of a 3 bedroom house in Greenwich. I have used Lee for a very long time and he has been effective on all counts. He did this job in 3 days including painting and laying carpets. Lebern is a very professional company who give you regular updates during the job. They go above and beyond with their customer service and always make sure things have been sorted out in time. He is reliable and can adapt to a situation very well, even if it is the shortest notice. I will recommend Lebern Building maintenance is you want a job done for the right price and effective results.Review from user_18c7, Deptford, London user_18c7, Deptford, London
Review left on 8 Feb 2017Rating: 3 out of 5Handyman needed for a few jobs...Lee's team did a good job in completing the tasks at hand. The fitted cupboards and tiling were done very well and we are happy with those. The one thing that we were not happy with is the timing, we were promised a certain time to have things completed by and it was only when I chased and said we would go elsewhere is when they finally came over to complete. One thing to point out though is that when receiving a quote from Lee and his firm is to question the quote from the beginning. They tend to bunch up work in the quote and when certain items are not completed they ask for the whole amount. I would recommend anyone taking on this company to get them to break out the tasks line by line with an amount associated with it. That way when a job isn't completed or done there is no excuse as to what you will or will not pay. Also a tip would be to write down minutes from each conversation with Lee as sometimes things are missed that have not been written down. With those things in mind, the people that Lee has working for him seem to work hard and at a good standard. If those things above are done I wouldn't have an issue with recommending them.Review from cassandra_16, Catford, London cassandra_16, Catford, London

Review left on 20 Sep 2016Rating: 1 out of 5GF - Kitchen & bathroomWithout question, this was my worst experience with any trades person ever!! I even question describing them as Trades people. They said that the small renovation would take 2 weeks in September 2015. Now, in September 2016, they have failed to complete some jobs and those that they did finish were completed to a very low standard. A new boiler was installed and when 'completed', leaked. It took the 'plumber' about 2 months to achieve this. The kitchen was installed without door provided, gaps were left between the tiles and worktop. The fire door that they insisted on still hasn't got a handle. A wall was erected with hit and miss joints to the existing adjacent walls. Pointing at the back of the house wasn't touched but charged for. Every question or challenge came with an excuse or they just blamed me. Professionalism is something that Lebern have heard about but have no idea what it means.Answer from tradesperson:
The client requested a labour only quote as the client agreed they would be providing materials, kitchen units, bath etc. We fitted everything that was available and even spent our own money to get items to assist as they were never provided and the client had financial problems. The fire door is a legal requirement to have for a kitchen when renting a property, we inform all landlords of this. No handles were provided so could not fit however we did request this. Unfortunately the client didnt have money to pay for the services that were requested so we had to move on and recover monies that were due via the courts which were successfully done We do appreciate the feedback and we have learnt a lot from the experience greatly

Jonathan arrived on time, as planned and did an amazing job, to an extremely high standard! I'm very impressed. He was professional, friendly and helpful. He also left the house clean and tidy after completing the work! I liked working with Lee and Eddie. They were good communicators on the whole although i would have liked to have had a little more detail in the pricing of the work. The build did overrun by quite a substantial time but the responsibility for that can be shared across all of us, mistakes were made by everyone - including IKEA! They were though very committed to a high quality finish and really did do more than they had to regards the small details and little extra bits in order to achieve the finished build. which was good for the price. i was quite frustrated however with one of their tradesman who was very slow in finishing work and did hold up the flow of the build. he made apologies and bought me a radiator in compensation though! Also i ended up having to do some of the snagging myself which was a bit annoying. But all in all good value and good customer service, even though it was slower than both i and they had initially predicted.
