Repoint patio
(Updated on 9 Jul 2025)Michael did a job for me 3 years ago but the job was poorly done. He agreed a price for the job & I clarified that all the old stuff between my garden flags would be removed before new resin put in. He did not remove the old stuff as I found bits sticking out. He came back to remove these and 'top up' with resin. When I initially saw the finished result I was unhappy. Flags he reset were not level. These began moving again only weeks later. He came back several times to try to rectify at the time. However as it was poorly done (only a thin layer), the resin has been
coming out in chunks (since a few
months after the job) and I can now
see that there is loads of loose chunks of mortar in the joints. The
resin only works if the joint is totally
clear & use 2.5cm deep of resin. My patio is a mess and I can't afford to sort it out again. I don't usually leave reviews but the last couple of years looking at my awful patio gets me down and I wanted others to avoid the same situation.

I’m unsure why you didn’t contact us first to express this we jet washed and repointed your patio the state of the area was really poor and we secured a few loose tiles and repointed you was told it would need lifting and correcting but this was not in the price or your budget we can only do so much with what we have to work with we have been out a few years ago as you wasn’t happy with the resin and we corrected we would never of left any problems you could of contacted first !
