Matt seemed like a nice guy, took the job on last minute, he explained he could provide a electric certificate so I gave him the job, once he arrived, he explained he left his device at a friends and could not do this, then explained items were stolen and now is borrowing a friends, in the end the job was done and I never got given any certification for the work and have now paid someone else to alter work due to electrics tripping and to provide me a certificate, paid out twice, never again.

Agreed price for job and electric safety certificate. Job carried out differently to what was agreed - was adamant that a new ring circuit was needed however, only a radial was made. Paid him in cash, then asked for certificate but Matthew told me he didnt have the qualification to issue me a certificate and that if I wanted one, I would have to pay more because he could arrange a friend of his to issue one for me based on his testing results. The quote I had clearly said that a certificate was included in the price. Matthew then remembered this, and after two weeks came back to do some tests. He said these results would be passed to his friend and within a couple of weeks we would have the certificate emailed to us but we have not had it. Its now been 8 weeks since testing and I have tried by phone and messages on here to make contact to find out where this certificate is but there is no reply. So now we are left with a new circuit that we wont use until we know its safe and Matthew wont reply to us. Very disappointed, he had seemed like a genuine guy but employing him for this job really hasnt been good, its been a mistake.
