    Partial Kitchen Refit
    Guy did an excellent job on this refit. He responded very quickly to my request for a quote and once this was accepted, we were very pleased he was able to fit the job in at short notice. The standard of work and finish is excellent, and Guy explained clearly the details of what he was planning at each stage. The job involved getting a couple of extra parts I hadn't ordered, which Guy managed to source and fit inside the original quote. The overall experience, and the standard of work, was excellent, and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Guy.

    Install a new Kitchen
    Very dissapointed in Guy Gumbley and his workmanship. We took him on to do a simple refurbishment job. He was very very slow - estimated that job at 6-8 weeks and after 23 weeks still not completed. He made no attempt to get the job finished in a timely fashion and unfortunately I had no alternative other than to cancel his contract before works completed. His work is of a very shoddy nature and I believe he under quoted and under estimated the time the job would take to secure a contract. He then kept reminding me that he was making a loss on the job - not what I would call professional and not my fault. I would not reccoment Guy to anyone for even the most simplest of work. Beware of this builder!

    Answer from tradesperson:

    The feedback i consider to be misleading and derogatory. The job was terminated by the customer 3 days prior to completion with £5000 outstanding for works and materials , which to this day remains unpaid. The original quote was accurate in terms of both time scale and price, however the scope of work constantly increased at the customers request, which led to an increase in time and price all of which was agreed with the customer prior to any additional works being undertaken. The criticism of the work standard is a complete fabrication to try and justify the non payment of the outstanding monies and my work standards always remained at the highest level as can clearly be seen by all my previous feedback.

    New bannister and removal

    Excellent communication, turned up bang on time and completed the job quickly and efficiently. Very happy customer and will defiantly be using Guy again. Thank you :)

    Dishwasher installation

    I was very happy with Guy's work. His initial quote to the job post was not only the lowest but the only one that was simple and fixed (no loopholes for materials, or minimum charges or VAT additions). He came on time and although he discovered that I'll need some additional parts and had to come on the next day again, he charged me exactly as originally quoted. Would highly recommend!

    Fit integrated washing machine into kitchen cupboard
    Guy and his team replaced a kitchen cupboard with a larger one, then fitted and plumbed in an integrated washing machine, with a few days notice!! They were punctual and reliable. It is also obvious that Guy knows about kitchen fitting inside out and has a helpful attitude and can find a ready solution to a problem. Needless to say, the work itself is of a very high standard (Guy also mentioned that he had worked for many years for a well known, high spec kitchen supplier). I would not hesitate to recommend him.     Kitchen Remodel and Fit

    Guy and his team did a wonderful job on our kitchen. A year on and we are still very happy with all the work they carried out. Whenever we faced a challenge, Guy managed to come to a solution that was not only practical, attractive in design but also cost effective for our budget. I would have no hesitation in recommending Guy to anyone - In fact he did a small job for my brother last year, who was also very happy. ..... Also we agree, his singing is second to none :)

    Fitting 15 unit B&Q kitchen
    Guy and his team did a fantastic job installing our kitchen, replastering the walls and fitting new lighting and sockets. I would definitely use him again.
