I hired Simon to do a garage roof, install velux window, replace main beam and fascia’s. His work is very shoddy. Garage roof now slopes opposite way and water does not drain down the down pipe. Fascia’s do not fit over the original boards properly leaving 3” gaps I have roof tiles sticking up and not butted up. I wish I could load photos on here to show how bad his work is. He told me that the Epdm roof comes in two sizes and brought two off cuts, as said larger size would leave too much waste. I told him I didn’t want two pieces and joins and I researched on line and it stated can order to size. He returned next day with one piece that fitted! He tells many lies and is not to be trusted. I have tried several times to get him to return and rectify the job and he replies ‘ will respond ‘soon’ and he either doesn’t respond or fobbs you off. I have now given Simon and Emma opportunity to come and rectify works but nothing from them despite them giving a 10 year guarantee on works Please think twice before giving your hard earned money to these people. Simon always gave excuses for not turning up on time, didn’t complete a full day and always had another ‘emergency job’ to do. I am now in the process of getting a surveyors report and preparing a case for small claims court to recoup some money as he has not offered to put the work to a good standard. I would not wish this stress on another human and would not recommend. A two week job took 4 months! PLEASE AVOID

Fantastic job, Simon is efficient, clean and honest. Great chap to deal with, would highly recommend to anyone and will be using Eden Building for many more future projects. I've seen other reviews for Simon on here, majority are good, any that are 1 stars are simply not accurate for this company and it's approach to honest work, rare to find these days. Give him a try and see for yourself.

Simon did a great job plastering a bungalow. He then went on to lay floors, tile and install a kitchen and bathroom. All to really high standard of work and finish.

Simon competed this project very quickly from start to finish . He worked out how best to get the job done whilst offering advice on how best to do it . He worked until it was done and even did it on a weekend for me as it was fairly urgent . Top quality and fairly priced Good sense of humour and a professional tradesman who knows what he is doing

If you are looking for a plasterer who doesn’t cut corners, is meticulous and reasonably priced, Simon is your guy Not only that he’s friendly, well mannered and patient. He has transformed our living room including media wall. Can easily say it’s the best plastering work we have had done and we’ve had a lot of work done this last year. Simon is multi skilled in areas beyond plastering. Whilst I can’t comment on all of his abilities I can confidently say, based on our experience, I wouldn’t hesitate to hire him to fulfil a highly professional job. Thank you Simon! I’m sure we’ll hire you again when we are ready to begin more work in the future
