I hired this company back in February the best bit was the quick response to fix my flat roof, after that it went downhill. 1. One of his workers put his foot through the roof even though I warmed this could happen.2 All the rubble from the old roof was dumped on my decking result decking had to be pressured washed at my own cost. 3.He arranged to fix hole in roof the man that did that made a mess of it result I got it redone at my own cost. 4.The decorator refuse to come and paper the ceiling unless the paper was stripped off result I got my own at my cost. On completion There was part of the roof was uneven so when it rained a large area of the roof had a big pool of water on it that didn't drain away. He said he would come and fix it after numerous phone calls promising to fix it he didn't appear. Then he wouldn't return my calls I suspected he was blanking my calls, so I used somebody else's phone and surprise he answered to it. Finally he said he would only come to fix it if I gave up the 10 year guarantee now blackmail seems to come to mind here. At the end of the day this man got payment for the work in cash at every time he asked for it. As a final stinger some of the rubble had gone down my drain and had blocked it only found out this when a really heavy rainfall ended up flooding my Kitchen as a businessman my self I would hate to give my customers this kind of service. If Mr. Dunnell was prepared to come and fix what he promised I would remove this review.

David visited the job, gave advice and was very patient while we worked through the options to deal with the issue. David helped us save more than half the value of the job by letting us know what we could do ourselves, then he came and worked on the roof. He was reliable, a good communicator, explained everything clearly and finally has done some problem solving about how we can look after our roof for the future. I will be asking him to do further work. Thank you David.

Where do I start. David Dunnell provided a quote June 2020. We agreed & paid a deposit for ‘materials’ of £5600, a date was agreed, scaffolding went up 16th July, majority of material delivered 20th July & then we waited & waited. Excuses, delays, lack of correspondence, more delays, lack of advice re warrants required & material which lead to more delays. Summer came & went, Halloween, Christmas, New Year, all went by with promises but no further forward. Roof tiles changed during this time (original removed but no replacement delivered) & another £3420 asked in Jan 2021 without commitment of when job would start. We decided that was enough & said no, we wanted our money back & scaffolding removed. Repeated requests for refund and removal went on until Scaffolding eventually removed 12th Feb 2021. To date he is still refusing to give us our money back citing we had to pay for scaffolding from July. We came to an agreement after repeated requests to even respond. Also All Material left at property meant to be removed & further repeated requests to do so and further false promises to remove. Eventually responded back & advised would get a refund by 1st March but would you believe it NO REFUND & no removal of materials & he will not answer texts/emails/I think he has even removed himself from Facebook (to stop us getting in touch?) so next steps are reporting this as theft/fraud to police (yes we have had advice) DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS MAN OR HIS BUSINESS

Hired David to fit a new roof hatch on a flat roof. David did an excellent job with this at a very reasonable price. In addition to this, David always got back to me promptly whenever I called him when arranging the job. I would highly recommend him and his team.
