Wizard of Enfield
You know the job you want urgently done is difficult when many a prospective builder gives it a 'look', takes pictures etc and never bother returning your further calls or text messages. So it was with the 'exchange of a broken and badly fitted kitchen extractor hood job' I wanted desperately sorted.
After many false starts I decided to post the job on mybuilder. Thankfully, my request caught the attention of Don Banks (more like Gandalf masquerading as a kitchen fitter). Don came over the next few days, unlike others who had seen the job and vanished given the difficulty, I was glad to hear Don proclaimed, 'your problem is over'.
So it was then that Don and his partner in kitchen wizardry recommended an extractor which was on sale for nearly half the price. Extractor ordered and delivered, and Don arrived the next day to fit. To keep a long story short, Don commited himself to preserving the near impossible to preserve cabinet by surgically removing it. Furthermore, he was able to make the required hole for the external duct in what was a very narrow wall (wall width just about as same as length of drill used). All in all after two days of dedicated toil, I not only had the ducted kitchen extractor installed but the cabinet was reinstalled with not much difference to the original fitting.
There's more but I'll stop here as I am sure I have written enough to convince you to hire the man that will forever be known to me as the Wiz of Enfield.
