1. Description of project: Total refurbishment of large 3 bedroom flat, including removal of all existing fittings and decorations, major structural alterations, ie removal of 2 internal load bearing walls, creating suspended ceilings throughout, replacing all bathrooms and kitchen, redecorating - including replastering, rewiring , replumbing, replacing all doors and skirtings, fitting wooden flooring and underfloor heating. 2. Quality of work: The standard and finish of all work is most satisfactory and of a high quality. 3. On time: Yes 4. On budget: Budget was exceeded as we, the clients, changed our minds and made additions. 5. Richard's strengths: Very organised and a good communicator. Efficient and reliable. Thorough and detailed initial schedule of works. Accounts thorough, clear, detailed and submitted regularly. Project proceeded according to plan, speedily, with all agencies and tradesmen arriving when expected.

Our 4-storey townhouse in addition to a mezzanine level was completely reconfigured, renovated and decorated to a very high standard. Structural engineers provided calculations and plans from which DecCardy Design & Build worked and structural walls were removed opening up the living space. We now have breathtaking views over Poole Bay thanks to some great ideas from the team. New lighting was incorporated, in addition to new bathrooms and kitchen and underfloor heating installed. I have no hesitation in recommending DecCardy Design & Build - Trustworthy, reliable, professional and personable and on budget, the project completing ahead of schedule. Workmanship of 1st Class Quality. Full time on-site Project Management from Richard leaving me with a hassle free life. Thank you.
