Davis is a nice chap and this job was for painting. He is a plasterer by trade. We did 3 days. Day 1 was rolling walls and was fine. Day 2 and 3 was mainly woodwork, satin. I’ve never seen so many runs in paint work. Whilst the job wasn’t finished that is no way to paint a first coat. I had to sand down all the work to remove the runs and even found he’d painted over a label on the mdf. So his two days cost me his labour, plus time to rub it all down and repaint it all. He did work hard and did quite a bit across the 3 days. But painting woodwork is not his thing and afraid was very costly for me to put right. I have been honest and have videos of the work. Please note this was for decoration work not plastering.

Hired David for plastering and I must admit that I was surprised to discover afterwards so many faults. - Not a single straight / 90 degree corner, literally none. - Not a single straight wall and they were bare walls, up to the bricks. Skirting boards are all over the place as a result of this. - No plastering tape used at all on any of the joints (walls, ceiling). Small cracks start appearing soon after painting. - Uneven walls around the doors, 2cm difference in some cases. Extremely hard to fit a door and have a decent architrave line. - Around the windows nothing on level. The shades aren't coming down in a straight line as there's no straight line. David is a nice chap, but I've wasted so much time, maybe too much, and money on a professional that supposed to know how plastering should be done. Ended up doing myself a lot of work after trying to repair so many mistakes. I wouldn't recommend.

Great service! David responded promptly and came out to review/measure up and provided a good quotation. Our window sills were installed within the week and we are very pleased with how it went. David was communicative, got on with the work and cleared up after. Would highly recommend.

David was quick to respond to the job post and his communication was good throughout. It wasn’t a big job but he didn’t come across that it was beneath him which I really appreciated. He did a good job and was very tidy. Happy with the outcome and would use David again.
