Extremely disappointed. The electrician committed to completing all work within 1 week. It has now been almost 5 weeks and the job remains unfinished, with several items from the original job description either missed entirely or completed to a poor standard, not what was agreed or promised. Once payment was made, he became completely unresponsive. We tried reaching him multiple times across phone, WhatsApp, and email, no reply from any channel. The quality of what has been done is also below the standard he committed to at the start. More concerning, the half-completed electrical work has left safety hazards in the property. Due to the nature of these issues, we are now looking at taking this further through the Building Control department. Would not recommend. Be very cautious about making payments upfront. Hope this helps someone avoid the same situation.Answer from tradesperson:
Who ever reads this last review on my work the customer never paid me for the completed work, then changed his mind on what he wanted done and expected me to pay for extra fittings etc, the job was left in a tidy safe condition, customer also said we will get all chasing filled in by our decorators then told me I needed to do it, knocked me down on price at the start of the job, kept telling me I already have someone doing the job cheaper, in which I said that’s ok get them to do it, then came running back to me to get the job done last minute due to being let down. I went above and beyond for this customer and this is what I get, so if I was looking at this post I would steer clear of them as you will get the same outcome I did, not paid completely, still owes me money for finished job. Let this be a warning to everyone. It’s such a shame when people don’t pay there invoices and tell lies, probably because they can’t afford to pay, I now have to take this customer to court.
