Oh dear dear Cannot recommend We learned a lesson to day.

Estimated completion date 20th December, actual completion date 25th January with minor works still needed. He took on a too big or complicated job that was clearly outside his skill set. Customer service, value for money and kitchen installation quality is poor. Would not recommend. To name a few issues: 18 spot lights, none of them work No back board in our largest floor to ceiling larder unit, things can just be pushed out the back Plastering of walls so uneven we couldn’t get skirting on or windowsill cover on Greedy - £1,600 quote for laying a floor that we outsourced at £300 30mm gaps either side of range cooker Cupboards misaligned/don’t hang straight Plastering around doors cut short with big gaps around the doors Massive hole cut in kitchen ceiling after it had been plastered and painted to access a dodgy electric job, hole then carelessly filled and not even with the rest of the ceiling Gaps/holes around spotlights and light switches Old extractor pipe left on despite it being poor quality and having holes in! No insulation in new interior and exterior walls Huge pile of rubbish left in our garden, all over our garden blowing around Left the wastewater pipe pouring freely over our patio Wine fridge not fitted at eye level with unnecessary filler panel above Chipped the ceiling and corners of the walls – chips still there Supplied the cheapest possible 20mm wood worktop and charged for top quality 40mm wood No certificates for gas and electrics

Gareth does what he says he's going to do and when he's going to do it. His workmanship is good and he thinks carefully about how to set about a project. I have no hesitation in recommending Gareth for similar projects as mine.

Gareth was really good and attentive when giving quotes and discussing the work which we wanted doing. The work on our house started late, which in turn meant the it also over ran by a good week. We had some radiators removed and new ones fitted, however the plumbing job was so bad there were numerous leaks under the floor which meant the boiler kept losing pressure and we kept losing heating and hot water. I mentioned this numerous times and it was ignored for a whole week. I woke one Saturday freezing cold and rang every number I could find to complain and it was finally sorted. I think it is disguising that they left us without heating and hot water for a week, especially considering we had an 11 month old baby at the time. Some of the workman ship was very poor. The tiling in the kitchen was awful and parts had to be removed and redone. The extractor fan still isn't installed correctly. We asked for integrated fridge, freezer and washing machine. However they have used free standing appliances which can't be fixed in and so they keep moving about. I tried contacting Gareth numerous times to rectify this but all communications to him are being ignored. Such a shame that there are some remaining niggles that still aren't sorted. I wouldn't use these again for further work.

Gareth was friendly and professional from our initial meeting to the end result. The initial start date was delayed but we were kept informed and once the work started we were very impressed with the attitude and helpfulness of the workmen As with any project we had changes of plans as we went along and the team were always positive and accommodating ensuring we got what we wanted. I emailed any niggles or concerns I had throughout the project and these were always answered and addressed by Gareth the very next day. When it looked like the job might run over due to the weather working against us Gareth pulled in a huge team on the final day to make sure we were ready for Christmas. Overall we can highly recommend them, so much so we've hired them to refit our kitchen, and in all honesty for the kitchen we didn't get any other quotes as one of our biggest concerns was leaving strangers in the house as we both work full time, but the team Prestige use are fantastic! Not only did they do a great job we now feel confident we have a bank of tradesmen to call on who we trust to do professional work and who we're happy to leave the keys with and that kind of peace of mind is priceless.

Gareth was great to work with, easy to contact and very helpful. His team did a good job for a good price and were very quick to make any changes during the work. Overall very satisfied.

I am very happy with the job done on my recent bathroom refurbishment. All guys who did it were very friendly,very tidy,very helpful working to a professional standard.Good communication kept with company,payment etc.I would reccommend them anytime. Thanks guys!

The main tradesman who completed the work (Alan) was extremely efficient, polite, punctual and above all else, extremely conscious of the finish of the work he was doing from day one to completion. The job was completed on time, within budget and to a very high standard. Other jobs that we required doing around the house were also completed on request. Very happy 👍🏻 Would certainly invite to quote on future work.

Purchasing a new kitchen can be a daunting prospect, particularly if like us you are in retirement. We are pleased to say that choosing Prestige Developments was the right decision. After receiving several quotations we chose to engage Prestige Developments to see the whole thing through. We requested a visit through My Builder and Gareth and Leon were quick to respond, visiting us almost immediately. They were open to our suggestions whilst giving us the benefit of their expert knowledge. Following on from that, they confirmed their competitive price with a computer visual. We were able to visit their Meliora showroom in Bawtry and choose the final fitments over a cup of coffee with Leon. Throughout the process Prestige Developments organised all of the work - skip, plumbing, the electricians, the plastering and fitting the units. The tradesmen were all polite, respectful of the property and paid great attention to detail in all stages of their work. All-in-all we are very satisfied that we made the right decision by engaging Prestige Developments and Meliora and would wholeheartedly recommend them to do an excellent job.
