Review left on 23 Dec 2024Rating: 1 out of 5New Combi Boiler InstallationAvoid at all costs!! Money grabbing would be a compliment to this guy. Was hired to do a boiler install that cost over £4k and left loose floorboards, cut wiring and left taps not working or coming on. Given this he was asked to come back to rectify (especially given the amount he charges you think he'd have the courtesy of doing so) but only would come back if we agreed to further work at a price. No courtesy at all and then resulted to personal insults. Doesn't introduce himself and just walks into your house unprofessional is an understatement.Answer from tradesperson:
I priced this job via videos/pic as I couldn’t get access. I arrived in November with all materials, once I physically seen the job I advised Mark he needs a full repipe of the 50-60 year old system as it’s in bad condition, I suggested he also get a 2nd opinion and more quotes which he did. After a few weeks of info and questions answered Mark decided to go with my quote and a combi. I fitted the boiler, Powerflush, new gas line, rad valves. Fixed multiple leaks on old system free of charge. He was over the moon, paid in full and booked me in to do bathroom and other work in NY The system sprung more leaks but as mark wasn’t moving in for weeks I arranged to attend in NY. He started bombarding me to attend before Christmas, it wasn’t possible (22/12) I received multiple threatening msgs all night until 3am blackmailing me to attended or he would give me a review like this!!!!! I suggested a re pipe when I first see this job!! I have all the msgs blackmailing me on phone

Review left on 20 Oct 2024Rating: 5 out of 5Boiler replacementI spoke to Chris on Thursday afternoon and he came that night and discussed options. He sent me a selection of boilers to choose from and cost. Chris came on Friday afternoon and changed the boiler completing the job Saturday morning, giving us heating and hot water. Chris was very pleasant throughout and cleared up everything and took all rubbish away. I would definitely recommend Chris to anyone.
